     Chapter 1

Cristi looked in the mirror at her reflection and rolled her eyes. People told her she was beautiful but she never saw it. She turned her head quickly and walked to her closet where she grabbed her white vans. After slidding her feet into her worn out shoes, she got her keys, phone, and purse. Realizing she was going to be late, she began to run towards the door. "Bye Amber!" She called down the hallway and sprinted out the door.  When she arrived at work it was 9. Technically she was on time, but usually she liked getting there early so she could see Dylan. Dylan and her weren't really friends, but she wished they were. She was the casting director of the Maze Runner's personal assist and every once in awhile, when she's not doing her stupid bosses chores, she could sneak a peak of Dylan filming. Everything about him was perfect. His hair, his smile, his eyes, everything. He seemed like a great guy and I've wanted to talk to him since filiming began. I realized I had just wasted five minutes thinking about Dylan and was going to actually be late. I yanked the keys out of the ignition and threw them in my purse. I scrambled around in my bag making sure i had my phone then slammed my door shut. As I walked onto the set I noticed everyone was gone. I began getting nervous as I looked around in some of the dressing rooms and couldn't find anyone. I heard a faint noise coming from Dylan O'Briens dressing room and I gentley knocked on the door. I couldn't hear anything so I automatically opened the door, instantly regreting it. I saw Dylan and a girl making out naked on the couch. Suddenly they looked up and saw me standing there like a complete idiot. "I'm so sorry" I squeaked and shut the door behind me. "Wait!" Dylan yelled as soon as the door closed. I could feel my face turning red from embarassment and I tryed to run around the corner before he opened the door and saw me again. "Wait!" He yelled again, this time right behind me and grabbing my shoulder to turn me around. "I am so sorry, I did not mean to walk in on...that. " He looked at me with his beautiful eyes as he buttoned his shirt back up. "What are you still doing here?" He said, drawing my eyes back up to his face from his abs. "I uh, I'm coming to work but I can't find anyone." I finally managed to whisper. He put his fingers gentley under my chin and looked at me like I'd never been looked at before. I gulped. "What's your name beautiful?" He said in the softest voice I've ever heard. "My name? Oh yeah um my names Cristi." I replied, blushing. "Well Cristi, there was an emergency in the directors family and everyone left about an hour ago to go home. No shooting today. Say, I've never seen you around here, what's your job?" He asked. "Oh well actually I'm just the directors personal assistant. It's not the best, but it pays the bills." I answered, this time more confidently. "Oh, well obviously I haven't been paying enough attention, you really are beautiful." My face turned bright red and I replied with a shy laugh. "How about dinner some time, Cristi?" I looked up, shocked at his request. "That sounds great, but what about that girl?" Slightly taken back by my response, he replied by telling me that was just a fling and I accepted his offer. "I'll pick you up at 8, wear something nice." He said, giving me a cute smile before walking back to his dressing room. I turned and walked to my car, could this day get any better?
