I smiled the whole way home. All I could think about what what I was going to wear! My mind wondered as I fantasized how the date would go. My phone rang loudly and brought me back to reality. It was my best friend Ally. "Hello?" I answered. "Cristi! Oh my God, I can't believe you answered, I thought you were at work?" "Oh yeah, not today, long story." I said as I pulled into my driveway. "Okay well I have bad news. Amanda is in the hospital, she was hit by a car about an hour ago. The doctors said it doesn't look good. Is there any way you could come see her?" "Holy shit. Yeah of course, I'm on my way."  I went inside and quickly changed before I made my way to the hospital. By the time I left the hospital it was midnight. Oh man, my date! I completely forgot. He's going to think I ditched him! What if he hates me now. I thought for awhile before walking back to my car and driving home. I decided to make a quick Starbucks stop because even though it was late, there was no way i'd be able to sleep with all this stress on my mind. I stepped through the front doors of the local Starbucks and smelt the bitter coffee beans. "I'll take a grande vanilla frappuccino please" I handed the lady my money and went to a table to sit while I waited for my drink. I heard the doors open so I glanced over and standing in the doorway was the same girl who I had seen naked just hours ago. Quickly I turned my head in hope that she wouldn't recognize me. "Grande frappuccino for Cristi." I rolled my eyes and stood up to grab my drink. "Hey! You're that girl from this morning." I turned around slowly to face her. "Uh, yeah... That's me." I replied, awkwardly taking a drink of my frappuccino. "Sorry you had to see me naked, me and Dylan didn't think anyone would be there. Him and I are really close, we've been dating for about a year now." I nearly spit out my drink, "Dating?" "Yeah! Were really serious. He didn't tell you?" I shook my head in response. "Hmm, well have a good night! Nice seeing you again. What did you say your name was again?" She asked. "It's Cristi." I stuttered, disappointed. "Cristi, wow that's a pretty name. Anyway I'm Jennifer. Well I have to go, Dylan's waiting for me at home!" She walked over to the counter and began ordering. On the way back to my car I was shocked. Had Dylan lied to me? Were they really dating? Wow, tomorrow was going to be interesting.
