Godt gritted his teeth as he closed his eyes hearing the announcement inside the plane. The aircraft was landing and as he fastened his seatbelt, he thought of his fate in the new country.

How unfair it was for him, he thought. The little shaking of the plane only made his mood even more sour. It was like a death sentence, becoming his god-sibling's baby-sitter. His personal doctor, whatever.

A young man was smiling at the end of the aisle as he waited for his lover. Godt scoffed at the sight, remembering the beautiful young man he thought he could have. His nerves rippled in anger knowing he completely lost.

Just when he thought he finally found the one who would ground him and make him settle, start a family.

"Tee..." He muttered silently.

"Hi," a man greeted Godt soon as he reached the arrival area and spotted his name on a pick sign. "I'm Louie. I'm here to pick you up."

Godt cocked a brow, eying the man in front of him up and down. Louie stands five ten, tan, smiling but seemingly bored eyed.

"I'm tired. Let's go," Godt said as he pushed his luggages to the other man. He stepped towards the black sedan and got inside without looking back.

"What a cocky bastard," Louie murmured. His driver deposited the bags in the trunk and both of them climbed in the driver's and passenger seat respectively.

On their way, Louie tried to open a conversation with the newcomer only to be responded by single-word a answers. He could only roll his eyes at Godt's impolite manner. He was trying to be friendly for he knows the doctor may the last one they'll ever get for Bas.

The only consolation he has though, was that the job may only last a couple of weeks. Bas' injury may not be too severe but the older Piniwat wanted to make sure his son doesn't do anything until he is completely healed. He has to be watched twenty four seven.

When the Piniwat household received a call from Dr. Porsche Thanit, saying Godt will be the young master's personal doctor, Bas' father couldn't be more relieved. After all, Bas is Porche's and Prae's godson.

"We're here," Louie chimed as he glanced to the back where Godt was seated.

The sedan stopped in front of a massive house. Godt peered through the window to see the house he saw a few times when he was a kid.

It was barely five o'clock in the morning and only the outdoor lights illuminated the surroundings.

'The roses are gone,' Godt thought to himself. When he came there last, there were white and red roses scattered in the front yard. Just like the first time he was there. At was subtle, but he was disheartened by it.

Louie and the driver took the luggages after they had alighted the car. Godt followed, paying no attention to the other two people. His eyes looked up and to the very left, the bedroom upstairs still had it's lights on.

A groan escaped his throat remembering who the room belonged to.

Taking a deep breath, he followed the two people he came with to the main door. They went past the main hall and up the grand staircase.

"We'll let you retire in your bedroom, Mr. Godt," Louie said as he led the guest into his bedroom.

"It's doctor," Godt said. "This is it?" His tone was laced with annoyance and he didn't bother hiding it. His bedroom was right next to Bas.

"Yes, doctor." Louie tried his best not to snap at the other person. The driver had already brought the bigger bag inside the room so he did the same with the other one as the clearly irritated and dissatisfied guest followed behind.

"If you need anything, the helpers' line is on the intercom," Louie declared as put away the luggages next to the walk in closet. "Also, all the house staff eat breakfast at seven in the morning. But you just came so you can come later, anytime you need but not later than lunchtime."

"What's with the strict schedule?" Godt asked as he flopped down the couch in his room.

"Bas' orders." Louie said walking back to the door. He glanced at Godt as he paused. "I'll be tending to Bas' needs in a few hours. We'll discuss your work once you've had your breakfast."

Godt gave the other man a small nod. He was too tired, physically and mentally to respond in words.

Louie didn't mind. If anything, he was thankful. He sensed that if the doctor would say something, it would only be hinted with annoyance.

***

His body jerked at the ruffling sound he suddenly heard, waking him up from sleepless slumber. Heavy lids slowly opened as he tried to see where he was.

Groaning, the doctor rubbed the sleepiness off his eyes. He was unwilling to accept the fact that he was waking up in strange room. Even to the last second, he wished it to be just a nightmare.

"God, damn it."

"That's a nice way to start your morning," the voice made Godt's eyes snap towards the front of the closet.

The young master of the house was busy rummaging through his luggages laid down on the floor "Tell me. What religion is that? I wanna sign in. Cussing first thing in the morning..." He snorted.

The doctor's eyes narrowed. His god-sibling was going through his stuff, throwing things clumsily with one hand as he dug deeper.

"Just because my father made me your doctor doesn't mean you can barge in like this in my room, wake me up with all that ruckus while going through my stuff," Godt barked angrily. "Get out!"

Bas smirked, unaffected by the other. He ignored the sting he felt in his injured arm as he used his good arm. Turning around, he threw the pair of boxers he picked up from Godt's luggage.

"The fuck?!" Godt hissed as he caught the piece of clothing. He slapped next him and eyed the grown boy in front of him with deep displeasure.

Bas was the same kid he knew. Same smart mouth. Same white smooth skin. Same baby face. Same... He noticed the eyes were not. They're still looking playful but something else painted those dark brown orbs.

"You came all the way here yet you didn't bother to bring anything?" Bas queried, left brow cocked.

"I brought what I needed," Godt spat back.

Snickering, Bas approached the doctor sitting on the couch. He hasn't left there since he arrived hours earlier. He fell asleep on the couch.

"Sure," Bas said as he slid something in his shorts' back pocket. "I would have loved to eat some durian chips, or seaweed."

Godt rolled his eyes. His god-sibling is still the same. Demanding and inconsiderate.

"Alright. Since you got nothing..." Bas smiled mischievously as he met the other, eye to eye. "You better be the best doctor. I know about your father's conditions."

'Of course he does.' Godt groaned internally.
