Ch.18

"I'm pregnant" Sarah said

"It can't be!"

"I am. I'm so sorry Adel. What should i do now?"

"And that man is the father?"

"What? No. He is my best friend. This child is Arthur's!"

"Then why don't you tell us? Why keep it from us? Arthur almost kill that poor man for no reason, Sarah!"

"I'm sorry. I freak out when i find out yesterday. I was planning to call you first before telling Arthur but... Adeline, please help me"

"I don't know Sarah. Arthur is in his no compromise state right now. You should have call and let him know your whereabouts. Why didn't you come home last night?"

"I didn't planned it. I simply just fall asleep. And I was angry to Bob this morning because he didn't wake me up last night. I can't call Arthur this morning because my phone is dead. My head is hurting so bad, so I decided to calm down before heading home and face Arthur"

"How is your head and tummy right now?"

"Feels like wanna explode"

"Come on, let's get you to the doctor"

"What about Arthur?"

"I will talk to him once he's calmer. Now just not a right time. You wait here, i will let him know where are we going" Adel told Sarah

"Art..." Adel sit beside Arthur who is still upsets with my happened

"What?" Arthur answer aggressively

"I will take Sarah to the doctor. I will see you at home, okay? And please don't used that tone when you talk to me. I don't like it. Go home and wait for us."

Adeline took Sarah to the hospital. She have to make sure about the news before she tell Arthur.

Once the doctor confirmed it, they went home and found Arthur is sitting at the balcony with cigarette and alcohol in his hands.

"I'm sorry" Arthur said without looking at them.

Looking at his state, Sarah cry silently  holding her stomach. She never saw Arthur like this neither Adeline.

Arthur look up and walk towards them and then continue,
"I'm sorry for acting like that. I'm sorry for beating your friend half to dead. I'm sorry for not listening first. I'm sorry..."

"Arthur..." Sarah stop him, touch his face and looking at him with so much love in her eyes.

"I'm pregnant"

"I know. I talk to your friend and he explained everything. I'm sorry..."

"Enough with the sorry. This child is yours. I don't know how because you never cum inside me, but i can sure you the only man i make love to is you"

"I believe you. I do"

"Alright. Now let's talk about the wedding before your bump is too big for wedding dress" Adeline cut in. Hearing the wedding words make Arthur feel not ease and Sarah notice

"Something wrong?"

"No. It just..." He look at Adeline and Adeline know what he is thinking about

"I'm fine Art. Really" Hearing Adel's words make Sarah realized.

"We can have a wedding together" Sarah said

"What? No. That's a bad idea" Adeline disagree

"Actually that's not a bad at all" Arthur's agree with Sarah

"No. Arthur. You will married to Sarah only not Sarah and me"

"What? No. If i'm gonna have a wedding, you're gonna have one too, Adel. We both are his wives for god sake"

"Sarah is right. And the points is not only about love. Like i promised, i will being fair for both of you. You both are my wives. The mother of my children and i will marry you both. End of discussions" Arthur said and start to make a phone calls.

Adeline on the other hand didn't take it well. She don't care about the wedding or  the party. For her people don't need to know about her status. She only wants to  build her own family and live in peace with the people she loves. But two versus one, she couldn't win. Especially when Arthur speak up.

"Alright it's settled. I have talked to my parents. We will have our wedding two weeks from now." Arthur said once he hang up the phone

"I'm fine with that. Adel?" Sarah asks

"On one condition. The wedding will held separately. Sarah's first and then me."

"Why?" Arthur asks

"No reason. Just do it that way or not at all"

Arthur and Sarah look each other before finally agree with Adeline.
