Kelly and I arrived to the community center, as Curtis and Alisha were setting up.
I had to change into my spare of clothes that I kept here so I made my way to the locker room inside was Nathan sitting with his back against his locker.
"Hey." I said opening my locker.
"Hey." He replied as I slowly stripped out of yesterday clothes.
"I was worried about you last night, where did you go?" I asked.
"A friends place." I nodded.
"My parents left this morning and won't be home for two weeks so you can spend your nights there." He nodded.
I stuffed my clothes into my locker, as I started feeling light headed.
"Emily?" Nathan stood up concerned as my vision came back to normal.
"Yeah?" I asked.
"Are you okay? Your sickly pale." Nathan said as I sighed.
"I haven't been eating, my mum wants me to have a models body... so I haven't eaten." I said.
"Who cares about that. Let's get you something to eat." I nodded. We sat in the main room, as elders danced and the others danced with them.
Nathan and I sat together, he wanted to make sure I was eating so he decided to stay by my side.
A second after my sandwich was done, James Blunt's, You're beautiful, started playing.
"I hate this song." I groaned.
"Me too." Nathan agreed.
He turned his head before his eyes widened.
"What?" I asked following his glaze.
A woman with a walker, slowly made her way over.
"No!" He jumped up running off as I sighed.About 30 minutes later, we were in our uniforms cleaning up garbage.
We made it down to the fly over to see Nathan sitting against a pillar with a cigarette in his mouth.
"What happened to you?" Curtis asked as we got to him.
"I will not be in a room where that song is playing." Nathan shook his head.
"Line in the sand, my friend." Nathan said as I rolled my eyes.
"Some old woman was looking for you." Kelly said.
Nathan's face changed and so did Kelly as she gasped, I rose a brow.
"You shagged her!" Kelly yelled out as everyone started laughing.
"Yeah. Yeah, nice one." Nathan said rolling his eyes.
"I gave her a right good staring to."
"You totally screwed her!" Alisha said.
"You nailed that old woman? That is wrong." I shook my head sighing.
"Did you enjoy it?" Simon asked.
"Shut up, you little freak." Nathan yelled at him.
"I think he did." Simon smiled.
"Are you into that?" Curtis asked him.
"She didn't look like that when we started, OK? You remember that bird Ruth, from Tuesday? Beautiful. That wrinkly old bint that's her." Nathan said pleding his case.
"It was the storm. It made her young again."
"Please, please tell me you didn't." Alisha started the gesture of someone being eated out.
"He did! He did!"
"God's sake." Nathan walked off as Kelly ran after him.
"Granny fucker!" We stopped looking to see Kelly coming back and Nathan walking away.
I sighed before running after Nathan.Later that day;
After talking to Nathan, and making sure he was all right, we made our way over to his mum's.
Louise was in the backyard doing laundry as Nathan and I made our way over to her.
She pulled down a sheet before coming face to face with us.
"So, I suppose you're going to tell me you love him?" Nathan asked.
"But it doesn't change how I feel about you." She told him.
"I'm so sorry I hit you."
"I punched the guy you live with.... Your..." I chuckled.
"I can't call him your "boyfriend", or your "partner", it's too pathetic." Nathan shook his head.
"You can call him Dad, if you like." I laughed.
"That's funny." Nathan rolled his eyes.
"I've been worried about you. Where're you living?" She asked.
"Emily's letting me live with her." I smiled.
"If you try to get on with Jeremy, I mean, really try, maybe you could move back in."
"I'm not being funny, a woman your age If you don't settle down before your looks go, you've got no chance." Louise chuckled.
"Thank you."
"I can't be looking after you when you're 80. You'll be phoning me every time you want to change the TV channel. No, too painful." He waved his hands.
"I've got Emily's. It's better for all of us." I smiled.
"Come round for your tea sometimes? Both of you." We nodded.
"See you, then." I smiled as we headed to the gate as Jeremy came out of the house.
"If you ever hurt her, I'll take you up the vets and have you put down." Nathan smiled as I rolled my eyes making our way out.I walked into my room, with the two boxes of pizza, beer and soda, Nathan was supposed to be in here but he wasn't.
"Nathan?" I asked but he didn't answer.
I set down the stuff before making my way out of the room.
Walking down the hall, I stopped when I saw my art room opened.
"Nathan." I said walking in.
He stood in front of two of my art pieces."Did you do these?" He asked as I brushed some hair behind my ear.
"Uh, yeah. I've been doing art since I was a kid." I replied.
"These are really good."
"They're not that good." I sighed.
"Are you kidding me? I would pay for one of these." I rose a brow.
"You would?" I asked.
"Yeah, like this one, 40 pounds.""This one, maybe 60?"
"Maybe we can use the camera, my dad got me for my birthday. And maybe sell them online." I said.
Nathan smiled at me as I felt my stomach fluttered.
"You are so beautiful." I blushed.
"Come on, we have pizza to eat." I held out my hand as he took it.
