"Ronnie dear, are you okay, you hardly said anything when you came." Violet Kray, the mother of Ron and Reg who they adorn with all their hearts, worriedly notice that her oldest son hasn't been himself since he came to see his mother. "Mum, do you remember, Dolia McCray from down the street?" "Oh Dolia, I remember her, she has become a beautiful girl you know, her mother still comes over for a cup of tea till this day I told her that Dolia is at a marriageable age for a young lady." Violet joyfully told her son.

"Well, that's what I want to talk about,  I umm, feel like I have feelings for her, but I don't want to put her in a dangerous situation where she feels uncomfortable or deals with a couple of people who would judge her because of her race." Violet puts her hand on his wrist for comfort. "Ronnie, look at me." Ron did as his mother said. "Ever since you were a young boy I saw in your eyes that you loved that girl with all your heart even if it means giving up everything you have for yourself."

Violet knew what her sons do for a living and how people in the east end talk about them but at the same time they were still her sons and she could never disown them if she did she wouldn't have anything to live for. Ron knew that his mother taught him to never be prejudice against other people race or whatever because they are different.

"Thank you, mum." No problem dear my, would you like me to pack you some extra desserts for you before you leave hon." That would nice Mum, oh err may I have a piece too for Dolia. Ron blushes as she asked his mother. "Oh, of course, Ronnie I'll get some for you." Ron always wonders how he ever deserves a mother as Violet did he even deserves to have a girl like Dolia or was he being selfish like he always was for his own benefit of having his way.

"Mum, I'm leaving for work." Dolia called to her mother who was in the kitchen making breakfast. "Okay love have a good day at work." Her mother called back to her. Dolia worked as a librarian downtown of London and as a clothing saleswoman at the mall on weekends to help her mother around the house. Life at work can be a little stressful for Dolia including dealing with discriminative white women that accuse her of being a whore because husbands stare at her in desire, Dolia has always been a beautiful woman in everyone's eyes, her lips were plumped with pink, she looked like a model in every body's view, and her hips caused men to be under her spell which caused discriminating women in calling her a whore for stealing their man, but Dolia didn't care what customers said to her, she always kept her head up and did her job.

A black car suspiciously drives by Dolia on the side as she keeps walking but felt that something was not right at the same things. "What's the rush doll?" It was none other than Ron Kray, the psychopathic gangster in England that everybody stayed away from including Dolia, she was always close to the man she always played and who always protected the girl until he grew up to be very ruthless, that's when they both went their ways as they grew up, she was a saleswoman and he was a killer, how can they even be a compatible friends or more?

"Ron, good morning." She lowered her head and fidgeted her purse. "What, cat got your tongue?" He arched his eyebrows trying to be playful, by Dolia didn't find his tone playful as she though. "If you excuse me Ron I have to catch the bus to work." She kept walking until Ron inquires. "How about I take you to work its much easier." Dolia didn't know what to say, getting in with a killer but a childhood friend who chose money and power over people, she hesitates but she could not be late for work.

"Well okay Ron I guess it wouldn't be a bother, thank you"
She spoke softly as she gets in the car. The ride to work was quiet and a little bit awkward as Dolia kept her head low including fidgeting her purse, what could she say she and Ron have went their separate way ever since him and Reggie became small time thugs to London's gangster princes. "How's life treating you?" He began to ask her out of nowhere. "Its going fine, just busy at the department stores and the library as always. And you Ron?"

Ehhh, managing clubs and any sort of thing you know." He shrugged. Dolia had to admit herself that Ron was a handsome man, something about him made her face blush and heart beat, not in fear but it something else, no she promised herself not to get involved with someone like Ron Kray.

They finally reached their destination at the mall, she bid her thanks as the chauffeur open the door including Ron for giving her a ride."Thank you Ron." She kindly smiles. "Would you like to go out this weekend?" Ron asked, he wasn't much of a guy who goes on a date but he knowingly wanted to catch up with thinks with Dolia.
