Dolia's P.O.V
"Earth to Dolia." What?" What do you mean what, stop daydreaming will you and go help those customers with their makeup foundation and clothing." Yes, ma'am, sorry for daydreaming." Ever since I got to work Ronnie's question still lingers me, asking if he wants to go out with me on the weekend, without thinking I blurted yes to him, oh bloody hell what have I gotten myself into.
"Dolia is something bothering you? You lately haven't been concentrating on work today?" My co-worker and friend Sandra asked in her concerned voice. I grimace at the thought of telling her what's on my mind since I don't want to burden other people with my problems. "Well, Sandra do you know Ron Kray." I asked her in an uncertain tone. "Well everybody in London knows who he and his brothers Reggie and Charlie Kray are Love, why do u ask?" Because Ron Kray asked me out this weekend."
" What, you mean the Ron Kray whose a bloodthirsty killer!"
"Shhh Sandra your causing a scene." I hushed her quietly making her cause a scene. "I'm afraid I'm actually am but it wasn't like I really wanted to go it's just I...hesitated just a bit." I try to explain to her the best I can with the situation I'm in.
Sandra squeezes her cheeks while thinking of a solution to my problems of in dating a gangster who will unwillingly force people to do his wicked bidding just for the sake of having power.
"I think I have a solution to your problem Doll face." Really what?"
"I say ignore his request on going out with him."
I looked at Sandra in surprised and shock. Has she not realized what kind of man Ronnie Kray is, he can beat you in a bloody pulp without any conscious in him or worst he will kill you, has she not lost her marbles.
"Do you know what you are saying, Ronnie is like a ticking time bomb when things don't go his way, he won't hesitate on getting on a person for getting his way of power." I tried to explain to her in a worrying tone.
"Well he's got to earn your rights and trust if he wants to be with you Dolia, you can't let a man overpower your dignity and self-respect just because he can be overpower the people around him to get respect out of fear, it isn't love, just power my dear girl, your dignity and self-respect comes first which a man has to respect.
Sandra is right, there is no way I would ever go out with man like Ronnie Kray who intimidates and bullies people for his own pleasure and power, if he wants to go out with me, well he is mistaken in his life he must earn his rights to be with me.
My decision has been made, I will not go out to dinner with Ron Kray until further notice.
