I woke up in the middle of the night. It was one of those jumpscares you have in your sleep. "Alayna? Are you ok?" "Huh? What happened?" "You jumped!" "Oh it was a jump scare, I had a tiny nightmare :( " "oh love, dont worry, you've got me" as he pulls me to cuddle. "I honestly cant sleep well" "ah, you want to sneak out and go to my favorite place when I cant sleep?" "Sure"
We jump out of the window, well I didnt cause of my leg. He takes me to this beautiful view on the beach. It was the boardwalk, the white sand felt cool as I sat on it.
Next thing you know. I fall asleep and wake up on the air mattress.
It was Friday, March 22nd. My 13th birthday. "Hey! Happy Birthday lovieee!!" Momma says. "Thanks ma" "I got you some stuff" "oh momma, why you gotta be so nice" "that's what moms are supposed to be "
I open the ginormous bag. I get new Nike Air Force 1s, new stationary supplies, an envelope, another bag, and aesthetic stuff I asked for" "aw thank you ma" "no problem. Hun, open the envelope, I hope you like it" "what could it be, I'm grateful for anything-" GASP. "Your kidding me right? No you cannot be- YOUR SERIOUS" "when am I never serious? It's all yours, and I got Steph a ticket but that's next week, the day of your flight is about an hour after you get out of school on May 23rd" "oh thank you so much mommy" "yea you've been wanting to go their for a while, so I thought I'd finally give it to you." "wait arent you coming" "I cant love, I'm sorry" "aw mommy 🥺, fine I'll take good pictures for you to keep" "deal"
I get on the bus. I still haven't opened the other bag since I was so excited about the tickets to the UK. It had a tag saying "Thought you would like this too since your trip to the UK. Love , Ma". It was the suitcase I begged for a while back.
"Good morning, love, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"Stephen says with happiness "Aw thanks, beb"
During our community meeting (when the whole school goes into the gym) "I'd like to add, todays a special day... everyone todays my gf Alayna birthday 1. 2.. 3.." Everyone in the school auditorium sings "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR ALAYNA, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU" I smile in an embarrassment. As I get into a classroom, multiple people come to me with cards and bags. Then people keep randomly give me cards and stuff in the halls. "Geez Steph, everyone gave me bags, cards, and stuff. My god" He laughs. As I go into my locker. My lockers full of cards,bags etc. I couldnt even fit my binder.
