Three princesses of the Kingdom of the Light shared a very specific bond. What one of them feels or thinks, she can transfer to the others, if she will. So, when they sat at the table, for lunch, the three of them were already working on a plan how to get out the information about the legend and the prophecy. They all had their own visions of how the plan should go, but there was always someone disagreeing.

For example, princess Loumenna thought they should straight out ask their parents what's the fuss all about. If they start wiggling their way out of it, they will know something is very wrong, but if they straight out tell them the story as it goes, then there's nothing to worry about.

Princess Jueel wasn't having any of that. What if they have already been prepared for this? What if they already have entire story prepared for them to hear? They would hear what they want to hear, their parents wouldn't give out any details that are crucial and everyone is happy, until suddenly... BANG! The Kingdom of the Darkness attacks and destroys them, all because they weren't ready for the war. In her version of the plan, they were going to snoop around without anyone knowing, and were going to try and find anything that might be of importance. That way, no one is hurt, they don't appear interested and are ready for the worst.

Princess Ainnea thought Loumenna's plan was too harsh and straight to the point. It seemed like something an unexperienced investigator would do. On the other hand, Jueel's plan sounded more rational, but too safe. After all, this kind of secret wasn't going to be unraveled by a little bit more research. If it was that easy, then they wouldn't have taken their time to make the puzzle frescoes all over the ballroom. She suggested they try to find someone who is easily bribed, or tricked into telling them those stories, but the other two sisters thought that would just get them into troubles.

So, they were back at the square one, as they stared at each other intensely, without saying a word. King was too distracted by the delicious food on his plate to bother and notice any of their strange behaviour. However, the Queen mother wasn't like that. She knew their daughters very well, and seeing them looking at each other like that, she knew the three were arguing, and by the intensity of their expressions, she came to conclusion what the argument was most likely about.

Finishing her lunch, she left the silverware beside her plate and stood up, "Your Majesty, if you don't mind, I would like to take a walk around the garden."

"Of course, my dear. That's a wonderful idea, the flowers have blossomed beautifully this year, thanks to the magic you provide them with.", he said with an approving smile, biting onto a juicy quail leg.

The Queen mother allowed herself to roll her eyes at an exaggerated response from her husband, knowing fully well it means he wants to be alone, or at least to spend some time away from her. She smiled politely, "Indeed. If you allow it, I would take our daughters with me. It's been a while since we walked and admired the garden together." Her voice was gentle, her words carefully chosen. If he was indeed that distracted, he wouldn't notice the hidden meaning behind them.

On the other hand, the three girls were very much aware of her words and their meaning, so the moment she spoke them, all of their attention turned towards their mother. King just nodded his head and mumbled an approval, not giving up on his quails. It was enough for the girls to leave the grand dining room, made out of pure gold, decorative rocks and wood combined. Truly a majestic piece of art, especially if you add the fact that over the large table was hung gigantic chandelier decorated with dozens of small crystals and candles that would give out an unforgettable, breathtaking sight whenever the candles are lit.

Princesses followed their mother, arguing about whom was to blame for this and who gave them out. The Queen could feel their nervousness even without the special bond they shared, but she just smiled, waiting for one of them to break and finally pop the question.

It was no surprise, when the one to break first and ask the question, turned out to be our delicate vanilla flower, Princes Jueel. Her ocean blue eyes were already watery as we speak, but she still had some hope that maybe, their mother was really just missing their time together. She wasn't lying when she said the three haven't been hanging out much lately, for the princesses were at constant watch and guarding, the orders coming directly from their father. Struggling for the words, she ran a bit and caught up with her mother, taking her hand, "Mother... I-Is there a-any reason, why you are taking u-us t-to the garden?" Her entire being was shivering, as she felt they were so busted, which only angered her sisters more, because they finally came to the conclusion she is the weak link.

The Queen shook her head, her silky blond hair shining under the gentle rays of sunlight, as she walked through the seemingly endless hall of the huge castle. Her smile was as elegant as she was, resembling a true Queen, and how the woman of her staddards should be. Looking at her now, one would think her daughters and her are nothing alike, but let me tell you, she was young and full of will to explore the life once, too. "Now, now, my dear. Patience is the key to success.", she spoke, making them no less nervous about this little road trip she suddenly came up with. Loumenna was already trying to find a way out, while Ainnea was trying to find a way to explain their curiosity, if it comes to that question, as they walked over to the-

But... Wait... This... This isn't the way to the garden. You can only imagine how shocked the three sisters were, when they realised that the path they took, wasn't leading them anywhere near the garden. Well, depending on how you look at it. The room she was taking them to, was next to the part of the garden, but they weren't about to smell roses and chit-chat. Oh, no... The Queen mother was taking them to a very special room. Yes, you guessed it... What!? No! Not a playroom! That's kinky, and too much even for me. Shame on you. The, "... Ballroom...", yes, princess Loumenna, thank you. She took them to the Ballroom.

It's getting hotter each day, don't you think?

What is about to happen? Is the Queen mother about to punish them for trying to find answers to the questions that are supposed to never be asked?

Ah, I guess we will have to wait until another chapter...
