Chapter 35: Nick's surprise

I was currently in new york doing press for my album. Olivia had texted me that she had made it to RI to see her family. I was doing an interview with a friend of mine that did one of the remixes of Jealous. They were telling her that they should hit up a bar to find a man. They looked at me and said “then we can take you ring shopping. I laughed and said not yet we’re still young.” Little did they know that I was going to RI to propose to Olivia. Liv’s dad knew what I was going to do. I finished up my press and then hopped on a plane to RI. When I arrived her dad was there to meet me. He told me that the girls and her brothers were on their way to twin oaks to get dinner. I rode with him to the restaurant. Her dad went in and then text me that it was clear for me to come in. I walked in and over to the table. Liv’s friends Erika Shay and Daria were there too. I smiled as they saw me. I walked over to Olivia and put my hands over her eyes “guess who” I said. I smiled as she laughed and said “I hope your Nick.” I smiled and removed my hands. I walked around in front of her and she smiled. I took her hand and nodded at her dad. He took out his phone and started recording us. I looked at her and spoke “Olivia, this past year and half have been amazing. I am very thankful to have you in my life. I wake up everyday with a smile on my face knowing that you are here with me.” I got down on one knee and continued “Olivia Frances Culpo will you marry me?” I looked at her as she had tears in her eyes. I looked over at her sisters, mom and friends and they were crying too.  Olivia looked at me “Yes Nick I will marry you.” We kissed as I put the ring on my finger. We called my family and told them the news.
