Ch 10 - Tests

With fear of a little Dragopire (Dragon and Vampire) on the way Moka is getting some testing done and evaluating from there.

Moka was waiting on the two tests in the lady's room. Standing by the sinks and just taking this all in. Was she ready to be a mother? Of course not. Most women aren't at a young age or when they find out that they are pregnant. She also didn't have a plan for it unlike Mizore and Kurumu. If Tsukune knocked them up they would drop everything to be the best wife they could. But instead, Moka was figuring out the what-ifs. 

I'm sure Kurumu is just double checking but I see all the signs. The sickness, the cravings, the moods to a point. What am I doing? I was just trying to live and try to be a good lover to a boy who has been so good to me. Regardless of everything. She started to cry. What will he think about it? I don't want to tell Kokoa. Better yet Akua and Kahlua would hurt him for it. My father might say that I'm irresponsible and take control. Then what? Moka took a breath to calm herself. Maybe Akasha could understand. She's family now. Still close, just not like we once were. Hopefully she can think of options. I want to be a mother, I am just concerned about what this will lead to. We are figuring out a Monster Mafia and I just found out I'm pregnant. This is just too much.

A look over at both tests they all read the same result. Positive. "What now..."

She went back to her room and Kurumu was waiting there. One look and this was all coming together. "I can stay here for you. Have you settle with things."

"Sure thing." Moka went to her bed to get comfortable and Kurumu joined her. Snuggling up next to her and massaging her belly. "I can't believe this. But I guess it's true on what they say, it can happen to anyone."

"So birth control and a condom?" Asked Kurumu.

"Used both. And here is a baby I'm carrying probably the size of half of my fist."

"Do you want anyone to know?"

"I'll talk about it with (FN) tomorrow. We'll discuss it then. For then just me and you. I guess I shouldn't be alone. I have a bad habit of that." Moka cuddled her and closed her eyes.

"You've been getting better at it. You just need to have things settle. If you want to have me speak to him I would. It's just how it goes."

"Dragon is worried and probably having a rough time sleeping. Actually, can you bring him here? Just off of a feeling I have."

Kurumu giggled. "I'll be an Aunty for the Dragon-Vampire mun-chi-chi. Yay."

"The what?"

"The baby silly. I'll be back." Kurumu went over to the window and swung it open. Spreading her wings and going over to your dorm.

In your room you were in a plain undershirt with some shorts on laying down. Eyes not closed but worried about Moka. What she's going through with the information that added all up and you've noticed she hasn't been feeling well.

Ah man. How the hell am I going to get through this one? Find the boss and say know your place? As if that were ever going to happen. Torch the guards with my breath and have Moka come with the super kick party? I wish. Man, this is a drag. Ah the pain.

( Yeah. Like being a Knicks fan. Jesus Christ. )

You hear a knock on your window and jump out of bed like you're going to karate front-kick someone entering. But you see the wings and blue hair as you go to the window. You open it up.

"Kurumu?"

"Can you follow me to Moka? It's important."

"She wants to be left alone." You argued.

"She told me to get you just now. So are you coming or not?"

"One sec." You go over to shut the lights off. Then walk back over and jump out before spreading your wings to sore for a moment. Then follow Kurumu to lead the way. Over to the girl's dorms and to her window. She goes in first and you follow up. "Evening." You greet her.

"Hey." That was pretty short. Just a simple hello.

"Are you feeling okay?" You ask.

"Dragon, I wanted to ask you something. What do you see as far as the future? What does it hold for you? For me? Us?"

"Well it is our senior year." You get yourself into deep thought. "I want us to be together and I think it's something that hasn't been talked about quite frankly. It's been you adapting to life as we know it. Not as two personalities, but as Moka the one I fell in love with having her own body. That's what it is. School? Work? We haven't gotten there but we should probably have some idea soon. But I'm willing to adapt any way I can if I need to. You are very important to me. You want a family? A working man? I will do what I can. Hope it's not the moon, but we can work it out. Right?"

This is much better than I imagined hearing. No skimping out on details as much as he could. Not a concrete plan but at least he knows the situation and ways of what is next. But I guess here it goes. "Baby, I need to tell you something. This means everything to us."

You sit beside her and hold her hand. Starring into those red eyes that get you every time. "Please. Anything."

"I'm, pregnant."

This hit you. Your body turns cold. Beginning to shake. It will take a moment to begin to find out how you feel. "Moka..."

"(FN)."

Kurumu just stood there. He doesn't know how to process this. (FN) doesn't have a family. Maybe didn't think he'd get this far. Glad I'm here for arbitration. This will be interesting.
