Miscommunication
--------------------
"If you guys continue improving at this rate, I can put you guys in the audition for the national team next year." After that successful performance at the Youth Sports Festival, the university had been receiving love calls for the same rhythm gymnasts to perform at their events. Some competition organizers even wanted Min and Jisol to participate.
"National team?" Min's eyes sparkled at the keyword national. It meant that her career was going to flourish and she would be able to bring money to her parents with her pure passion. Jisol was excited as well, who would've have thought she came from a taekwondo background to be able to achieve so much.
The two girls promised to work harder and thanked their coach before the training got dismissed for lunch time. Just when they were about to leave the training ground, Min's jaw dropped when she saw someone walking towards them.
"Cho Seungyoun?" Jisol couldn't contain her surprise when she saw the man. Just what on earth was he doing here? Min's head whipped towards Jisol when she heard her friend called out for Seungyoun's name.
Seungyoun panted hard, implicating that he had ran to get here. He did a small wave at Min before turning to look at Jisol. "Why didn't you reply to any of my texts?" Min's eyes widened before turning towards Jisol as well.
Text? "Since when were you guys so close?" Min had to question because her bestfriend actually knew her other bestfriend and this was foreign and new to her. She didn't even know that Jisol knew Seungyoun.
"Um...because it was from an unknown number?" The more Min thought about it, the more absurd it was. Just what on earth was going on? Seungyoun being a flirt is weird- although its not new, but Jisol being nonchalant and ignoring people...now that's something you don't see everyday.
"Let me save my number on your phone then." Seungyoun said while putting his hand out. Jisol shook her head, not wanting to deal with him.
"Jisol I can give you his number if you want." The latter quickly pinched her friend while glaring at her. Her eyes screaming don't add fuel to the fire. Which made Min even more confused.
"Come on Jisol, don't be like that." The male whined before taking Jisol's hand in his. He took out a pen and wrote his number on her palm, but even after doing so, he didn't let go of her hand. Jisol's heart started beating rapidly when she realized she had let her hand rest in his for a little longer than expected before quickly pulling her hand away.
Shit, no Jisol. Heart, don't you dare flutter. Stop. She tried her best to contain her emotions before pulling clueless Min away to head to the cafeteria.
When they were at a far distance till they couldn't see Seungyoun, Min pulled Jisol towards her and the latter knew that she had way too many questions up her sleeves. Jisol innerly sighed, wondering why the hell did Seungyoun even come to the school.
"Lee Jisol, spill." Min demanded.
"Alright, where do I start. Um, I was crying at a park, he noticed me and gave me a tissue. Then he recognized me when he came to visit you for the performance. Then the rose thing, which you witnessed...then...he came to the cafe I worked at and asked for my number."
"Holy shit what a creep." Jisol sniffled a laugh since Min basically just called her own bestfriend a creep.
"But I know he's not someone like that. He's interested in you." There was a moment of silence before Min gave a sneaky smile, feeling excitement that her two bestfriends might be a couple.
