Chapter 3

Once home I walked into my room knowing my parents are not home yet from work. Just yesterday they came back from their second honeymoon. My mom is a prenatal yoga instructor and an massage therapist while my dad is an attorney and inherited the business. I lay on my bed and soak in what has happened in the last 24 hours. What hurts the most is that my other half does not want me from the beginning and is not a virgin in anyway. We will not share our first anything ever! Maybe Sarah was right that I should of got it over with or at least the part about what if he is not a virgin. I went downstairs and grabbed my secret stash of mint browny ice cream. This is why I am not even close to what Jacky looks like, because I am an emotional eater. I sat by the TV and watched Looney Tunes while eating my gallon of  ice cream. When my parents came home they say horror. I have not been like this since Jr. High. They looked at each other and then my mom came to my side.

"Honey what is wrong?" My mom asks.

"Why is Fate so cruel to me when all I ever wanted was my other half and live happily?"

My mom looked at my dad and shakes her head then he left the room.

"Honey I do not understand." My mom says rubbing my back.

"My my other half is an ass!"

I stuffed more ice cream in my mouth.

"Honey let me have the ice cream, I can not understand you while you are eating." My mom says.

The last time she took my ice cream from me it ruined her favorite rug, couch, and her favorite dress.

"He does not love me. He is not a virgin. He wants Jacky not me. Who can blame him I am fat and ugly compared to her. He only wants me cause of the stupid mate bond!"

I started to cry again and reached for my ice cream, but my dad took it and replaces it with baby carrots.

Like who the heck gives someone who is upset carrots after taking their ice cream away. Carrots are for happy moments not sad and angry moments. I really dislike the doctor now more than ever.

"Honey how do you know he is your other half? What is a mate bond?" My mom asks.

My dad kneels next to me.

"Hun I got this one." My dad says.

When my mom left he hugged me.

"Sweety how do you know about supernatural beings?" My dad asks.

"Oh so you can know and defend them, but when I am distend to be with one I am not suppose to know?"

"Young lady I understand you are hurting, but do not turn your hurt to anger at me." My dad says.

"Why me? I have been faithful. I have been waiting to share our first everything. And now I look like a stupid hormonal stereotypical medevil female waiting for her prince to come rescue her."

"Sweety who is he?" My dad asks.

Then both of us look out the window to see a wolf, but I know it is Anthony. He barges into the house and growls at my dad.

"Anthony stop, he is my dad! And you have no right to even be near me!"

Anthony whimpers looking down like he is ashamed, but I do not care since it is only the mate bond making him feel this.

My dad raises his hands in a surrender way. Then Anthony shifts back making me turn my head.

I particularly do not want to see him fully naked especially after what has happened today.

"Hun can you bring a set of clothes from the hall closet." My dad yells for my mom.

"Your my mate!" Anthony says.

"No I am not."

"Yes you are." Anthony says.

"Says who, fate?"

"Ugh!"

"If you are so annoyed why are you here instead of with Mrs. Popular and Perfect? Or did you already fucked her and decided to find me afterwards? Just get the stupid rejection over with Anthony!"

Towards the end I started to scream and I just wanted him to leave me alone.

Shortly after my mom brought some clothes and Anthony changes.

"You can leave now!"

"Can you stop and let me explain before both of us get hurt worse?" Anthony asks.

"Can you not be an ass and be honest?"

"Okay this is childish. I am sorry that you took what is said wrong. I meant that if I did not shift late I could of found you sooner. We were always there at the same schools since Jr. High. And it is very rare that a werewolf let alone an Alpha werewolf is distend to be with a human." Anthony says.

"Then why did you date Jacky let alone share all your firsts with her?"

"Hey, sssshhhhh. I am sorry I was not thinking about if she was not my mate." Anthony says while holding me and rubbing my back.

"Do you regret it?"

"Yes very much since seeing you cry hurts me and my wolf. Plus he would not shut up until I found you and you at least hear us out." Anthony says.

"I am still mad and hurt."

"I can feel it, but I am winning you over though." Anthony says.

"Cocky ass."

"Only for you mate." Anthony says.

My stomach starts grumbling for real food.

"Let's get you some food shall we." Anthony says.

Right then my mom texts dinner is here.

I ran downstairs to the kitchen and grabbed my mushrooms, bacon, pineapple pizza. I sat in my seat and see Anthony looking at me in shock and in awe.

"It's Anthony right?" My mom asks.

"Yes ma'am." Anthony says.

"Please call me Mrs. Leighton or Janna, but never ma'am." My mom says.

I snickers knowing full well my mom hates being called ma'am for many reasons.

"Do you want to have dinner with us?" My mom asks.

"If it is okay with Luna, I would love too." Anthony says.

Just him looking at me and saying that makes me drop my yummy pizza with my mouth a bit open.

"Oh she will not mind. Do you Luna?" My mom says.

This can only get worse so I just nod my head. That makes Anthony smile and sit right next to me.

All through dinner I can feel his leg right against mine and it is bothering me. After dinner my dad had a word with him thankfully giving me a break from the warmth and feeling of wanting to loose my virginity right there and then.
