Steven had recently found out the truth that his mother wasn't shattered. He called everyone liars, fakers, traitors and other insults. Pearl moved with me in Moscow, we were at a beach watching the sunset. I was about to propose to her.
"Pearl."
Pearl: "Oh, yes David?"
"You've been my lovely Pearl and my girlfriend. I want to show you how much I love you."
I reached into my pocket and grabbed out a ring made by Bismuth. Pearl had her hands covering her mouth, a massive blush and widened eyes. She loved it.
"Will you, Pearl, marry me?"
Pearl: "YES! YES I WILL!"
We hugged each other and shared a deep kiss. Then the nightmare came. When we hugged she looked over my back and saw Steven. He stopped in front of us.
"S-Steven? What are you doing he- how'd you get here?"
Pearl: "Steven? What's in your pocket?"
He didn't answer me. He looked at Pearl and pulled out a pistol, he shot her gem. I watched in horror and rushed to Steven, however his Pink Diamond power activated and he threw me over him. I fell onto the sand and I saw the love of my life die. Some people saw what happened and ran away. Steven left the beach to somewhere unknown, I rushed to Pearl's gem shard remains.
"Pearl! Pearl! PEARL! NO! NO!! NNOOOOOOOO!!!!!"
I held those shards against my heart, I cried for about 2 minutes, then my closest friends, Bale, Minotaur and you, Rodion, help me up. You were just friends with Pearl, I didn't want to burry her shards.
Present day...
(No one's POV)
David: "And that's what happened. I have her shads right here."
He was at a table in the cafeteria. He pulled out a small pouch and inside were Pearl's shards, he places the pouch on the table in front of Rodion.

Rodion: "I'm still sorry for your girl's loss."
David: "I know, so is Minotaur and his brother. I just hear her singing in my head. I just miss her."

Then Minotaur and Bale sat next to him.
Minotaur: "Can we sit here?"
David: "Y-yes."
Timeskip...
David was back in his room he was starring out the window. He grabbed a framed photograph of Pearl and him on their first date. He smiled and teared up a bit.
David: "Pearl, I'll see you soon."
He puts the photograph down and he grabs his revolver and points it at his head. He cocks the hammer back.
David: "I'll just...maybe I shouldn't."
He looked at the other photographs of him and Pearl. He tears up.
David: "I-I CANNOT DO IT!"
He dropped the revolver and cried. He grabbed some tissue and wiped the tears of his eyes.
David: "Pearl...I miss you. I will get him back. I wanted us to have a family, just you, me, possibly some adopted children, and a pet. Sadly, that's the day that'll never come."
