Basis!

I was born special.
At least that's what my father told me.
He said it was a gift from God, something I should cherish for as long as I live.

It certainly didn't feel like a gift.
More like a curse.
An ugly, filthy curse.

It started when I was 8.
I couldn't control it.
It was scary.
Very very scary.

I was taken away when I turned 13.
Men invaded our home, they were dressed like soldiers. They carried huge guns.
I was screaming as they ripped me from my father.
I remember he was crying too.
He told me it would be okay.
I couldn't believe him.

By the age of 16, I had full control over my powers.
They kept me locked in a cage with building blocks.
I hardly saw daylight.
And when I did, it was on a mission.
I thought my life was unfair.
I asked why I was born this way.
I felt so alone.

When I turned 20, things started to look brighter.
After years of torture, I managed to escape.
They shouldn't have trained me to be so ruthless.
It came back to bite them in the ass.
I changed my name, left the country.
Started a new life.

I'm now 22.
My father found me, brought me home.
It didn't feel like home anymore.
Dad never left me alone.
I couldn't leave the house.
I felt like a prisoner again.

And then one day, two men arrived at my door step.
They knocked on my door.
I opened it.
