CHAPTER 2

At the ice cream bar...

"Wow!!!"Yuki exclaimed as she looked at the double strawberry scoop ice-cream, with rainbow sprinkles and a happy kitty face done with chocolate syrup.

"It's amazing, I've never had one of these before"Yuki added, as she took a spoonful of her treat.

Yuki's eyes widened as she had a spoonful of the sweet creamy treat, making her taste buds dance about.

"I told you this place had the greatest ice-cream ever" Diane said.

Diane started going on about her primary school and how her mom takes her here everyday after school.

As they left the ice cream bar, Yuki kept a happy face althrough.

"Where to next, I've never left the mansion before. I want to see everything pleaseeeeee!" Yuki said as she kept her hands together having a sugar rush, looking at Diane with her big violet eyes.

Diane shrugged, "fine you win,but there is one place that's a hundred times better than even ice-cream"Diane said with a small grin.

"Welcome to the greatest amusement park in the whole world!" Diane said pointing at the sign of the Kyoto's grand amusement park.

Yuki's eyes widened with excitement as she admired everything about the amusement park.

"What's that!?" Yuki said while pointing at a gaint turning wheel.

"It's a Ferris wheel" Diane replied.

"And that" Yuki said pointing at a ride with people screaming.

"That's a roller coaster" Diane said.

"And that".

"it's a fortune teller hut".

"And that!".

"It's a merrygo round".

"And that!".

"That's a Circus show".

"Wow!,And that",

"that my friend,is one of the best things of an amusement park. Cotton candy!".

Yuki pleaded with Diane to get her some, but Diane said she was already out of money after the ice-cream and only had enough for a ride .

"Don't worry Yuki, we don't really need the cotton candy. We can just go on one of the rides" Diane said .

Yuki looked around,"let's go on that one" Yuki said, pointing at the Ferris wheel.

"That's great , the Ferris wheel is one of my favourites.You can even see mount Fuji from there" Diane said.

"Really!"Yuki said before Diane held her by her hand and started running towards the Ferris wheel.

"Come on Yuki, we don't wanna be back of the line" Diane said as they ran towards the ride.

"This is so awesome, the last time I came here was during summer break" Diane said as she looked out the window of the ride, the view was breath-taking as normal, mount fuji looked so close from the ride, no wonder it was her favourite ride.

"So how're you enjoying the ride" Diane said but didn't get a reply.

"Is everything ok Yuki? Don't you like this ride" Diane said looking back at yuki.

Yuki sat still on the ride seat, gripping hard on her dress, with her head down.

Diane moved closer to yuki and started hearing little sobs, she squatted beside yuki but her eyes widened at what she saw.
