"Guess what's happening tonight," An excited Cassie nudged my shoulder to get my attention during a thoroughly boring lesson on Calculus.
"What?" I asked, keeping my eyes to the front. Ms Harrison was not particularly fond of talkers.
"There's a fight on, down in Westfield. We should go, Lex,"
"Why would I do that?"
"Because I've always wanted to go and you know Sebastian so he'll get us in." Cassie squealed quietly.
"I'm not exactly BFFs with him, you know." I stated dryly.
"Please? It would be so cool and there'd probably be hot shirtless guys there looking all sexy and fighter-ish." She pleaded with puppy dog eyes.
"Fighter-ish?" I raised an eyebrow at her use of words. "Besides, I don't even have Sebastian's number and how else would we get in?"
"I suppose," She sighed deeply. "I guess I wouldn't have been able to get out anyway, seeing as it's at ten."
"Exactly." I affirmed but upon looking at her devastated face, I softened, "Although maybe we could go next time."
"Definitely." Our conversation had caught the attention of Ms Harrison and we were now the subjects of a death glare. Time to stop talking then.

"You look exhausted Lexie, why don't you go to bed early?" My dad suggested as we sat watching TV later that evening.
"I'm more restless than anything else," I replied, chewing my lip in agitation.
"Well then go round to Cassie's or Aiden's." My mum offered.
"Yeah, I think I will if that's okay?"
"Of course it is. Just text tomorrow morning to let us know where you are," My dad confirmed and I instantly jumped up to leave.
After packing some necessities, I decided to head over to Aiden's house and started driving. I wasn't hugely paying attention; after all, I had been to his place a ridiculous amount of times and I knew the way by heart. Then a sign caught my eye. Westfield. I curiously checked the time and without even thinking, I began to drive there, knowing that I still had time before the fight started. Why I was doing this I have no clue. There was something in me that had been rather amazed at how Sebastian had hit the punching bag with such brute force using only his bare fist and something in me that wanted to prove him wrong; that I could easily fit in at a fight.
So that's how I ended up outside some shifty looking warehouse with huge bouncers outside; neither of them Carl. Cautiously, I walked up and got in line, taking quick glances at the people around me. All of them terrifying males.
"S'cuse me, missus, I think you've got the wrong place." One of the guards stopped me, a grin on his face.
"Fairly sure I'm right," I tried to keep my voice as steady as possible.
"Either way, you're not getting in lass. Not your kinda scene." The other guy said in a mocking tone.
Well, I hadn't planned for this. I bit my lip and got ready to turn around and go with my original plan of staying at Aiden's.
"She's with me." A familiar voice said from behind me, surprising both me and the bouncers. Guess I just found my ticket in.
