Kumio,
I heard the door unlock and my dad, Kuniharu Saiki, calling my brother's powers sneaky. That ticked him off, which worsened when dad started to say his 'dark thoughts' out loud.
"Ku? Is that you? Your back?" My mother, Kurumi Saiki, called to the open door which made my dad let out a wierd choking noise and dash inside screaming at my brother about talking later. Dad and Kusuo entered and I watched my mother and father argue from the dinner table.
"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU CHANGED THE LOCKS ON ME AGAIN!" Dad yelled at my still smiling mother.
"I hope your hungry KuKu I'm making breaded pork chops for dinner" Mum announced as she ignored dad and Kusuo walked in after taking his shoes off.
"Hang on! And now your choosing to ignore me! Besides, I told you I wanted to have steak tonight!" Dad yelled at mum again
"I'm sorry I forgot, but I could boil you up a leather shoe." My mother... reasoned?... with dad as Kusuo spaced out. I just sighed and turned the page on my book about psychology, I'm learning more about it so I can help my brother either get rid of his powers or control them without the need of a device like Kusuke has settled for.

Mum had set the table as I ate and read at the same time. It was hard to concentrate as dad yelled about the shoe he was given to eat, asking Kusuo to turn it into a steak after he turned down the cooked blue trainer mum offered after. Ku ignored him, surprise surprise, and I felt it was my time to intervene. Without looking up from my book I spoke to my stupid old man.
"Technically leather is dried cow skin so it is edible and can be classed as steak if you're being picky." I announced and dad turned to me, betrayed as Kusuo smiled at me. Dad had another fit about us taking mum's side and I couldn't concentrate anymore so I closed my book and focused on my meal until dad admitted to licking shoes all day, that put me off my appetite. Then dad started ranting again, I had a headache by now.
My mother took mine and my brother's hands and started telling us about how and when to use our powers, shes a very sweet woman and I would defend her anyday in an argument against dad so I couldn't fault him for believing so, even when she turns scary. A shiver ran up my spine as she started to wrestle my dad for eating the dinner I hadn't finished. I brought my hand up and used my telekenesis to bring two coffee jellies and spoons for my brother and I.
"This is called coffee jelly, I won it in a shop today, apparently its bitter yet very nice. Try it!" I told him as I opened my own. I finished at least half of mine before I looked up to gauge Kusuo's reaction to the new treat. He smiled so heavenly it made me laugh, even more so when mum threw dad at Kusuo and he teleported to eat the jelly before it hit the floor.
Mum used her demon face and picked up the dinner table.
"Stop running from me you coward!" She yelled "Your not leaving till I say so!" She cackled.
Dad cowered as mum let go of the table but Kusuo used his telekenesis to stop it before it hit him.
"So now your on your dad's side!" The, now human again, distraught woman said "but I even made you pork chops!" She exclaimed as I picked up my crutch and stood next to Ku.
"I want nothing to do with any of you again!" She exclaimed. My heart clenched, I may have been very mature and a genius by all things considered but I'm still a ten year old. I knew she didn't really mean it but it hurt and I'm not ashamed to admit that I almost cried.
I turned to Kusuo with watery eyes. She doesn't really mean that does she? I said latching onto his sleeve. Ku's face softened as he shook his head and grabbed my hand. He looked pretty mad at them for making me cry. I calmed down and turned back to the argument as they started to talk about them loving each other and I realised that it was forced shared telepathy.
