SAIKI HAS A YOUNGER BROTHER!?!?

Chapter 2- Sorry it took so long!

Kumio,

I was thoroughly bored out of my mind as I sat in full uniform outside in the school field, I couldn't do as much as the others due to my pretty useless leg and so was put on the sidelines as a referee. Kusuo looked about as thrilled as I was about Phys-Ed, or PE, but then again he never looked thrilled at anything. He threw a ball into the ball rack and it landed like a meteor, crushing the metal frame and freaking out a few of our classmates.

"Alright losers, listen up! We're playing dodgeball!" Matsuzaki yelled earning groans from the unwilling boys and complaints about how old they were for dodgeball, I didn't understand them because when I was little dad used to play faux dodgeball with me using a foam ball so I wouldn't be hurt as I couldn't dodge so well and I've loved the game ever since. It was one of the nice things my dad did as he was pretty much useless at everything else and I was the only one of his weird sons to be willing to play.

"QUIT COMPLAINING!" A guy with spiky red hair and strange eyebrows yelled, he had an imposing presence which radiated motivation and energy. "Let's give it everything we've got!" He yelled turning to his classmates in determination. "So what if it's childish? It'll be fun to relive our youth! Let's go out there and dodge till we drop! Eh?" He yelled whilst zipping all over the place and he sparkled when he finished. The boys conceded and blushed at the red guys enthusiasm and belief in them.

"Well I guess if Hairo really wants us to, then I guess..." One says. So his name was 'Hairo'

"Yeah, we've gotta give it a shot right." The boys cheered in renewed vigor as Kusuo decided to enlighten me on this strange boy Hairo.

That's Kineshi Hairo, our class rep. He's a little too relentlessly gungho for my taste, but the rest of the class seems to respect him. I nodded in understanding and slightly smiled, the guy was eccentric but it wasn't necessarily bad, just intense if you weren't used to it. The guys continued cheering until Matsuzaki spoke again.

"We'll decide teams by rock, paper" And they did, I was obviously left out.

"Alright! We're gonna win this thing!" Hairo yelled and his team, which Kusuo was on, cheered. The team was Team Paper

The other team consisted of Nendo, Kaido and Takahashi as the most notable people, at least for me.

"We'll start with a jump ball" Matsuzaki announced as he threw the ball in the air. Hairo immediately catching it with a strange face and throwing it, hitting Takahashi square in the chest, scoring them one point which I recorded onto the whiteboard Matsuzaki gave me whilst the teams were being decided.

Kusuo's team cheered and Hairo was already sweating heavily for some reason. Nando's team got the ball and the brown haired boy threw it yelling "Alright Saiki we're taking you first." Kusuo still looked bored and didnt attempt to move or flinch as the ball hit him head on in the face. I was surprised that his glasses didnt break, although it would be bad if they did, I slightly giggled into my hand as Kusuo looked at me jokingly annoyed but I knew it didnt hurt him. Someone on his team didnt and I was slightly warmed when he asked if my brother was OK. Kusuo was headed to sit down next to me so he could check up on my leg and so he didnt have to participate anymore.

"Hold it Saiki." Hairo called in a surprisingly calm voice. "Were you actually trying to get hit by that ball?" He asked as Kusuo nodded slightly. "For real?! Well.." Hairo started as Ku started walking away again. "Hey, where are you going?! You're not out!" Ku flinched and Hairo sparkled while proudly telling him about the face safe rule. Ku looked annoyed as he turned to me.

It's true. First safety and to be as fair as possible the rule is that the ball has to hit above the knee and below the face! I told him as his mood soured and I giggled again.
