Awkward Encounters

     After finishing our food we got retreated back to the Jeep that Joseph had. "Where is Eimi going to sit?" Avdol asked. She got into the back where the trunk was supposed to be. I glanced at her before climbing into the car. My hands found their way into my pockets after sitting down on the leather seats. Joseph grins widely and pops a CD into the radio. A familiar song was playing faintly in the speakers. I groaned as I finally realized what song it was and it was called "Take On Me".. I was very pissed. The old man turns the volume up and screams out the lyrics while driving. "Would you shut up?!" I hit the seat with my fist roughly. Joseph stops for a moment and clears his throat. "Singing never hurt anyone, Jotaro." He laughs and winks before returning to his horrible screeching that he called 'singing'. I stared out the window, trying to close out the music. Eimi was also behind me and I looked out the corner of my eyes at her. Her head was up, staring up at the roof of the car. "Aren't you uncomfortable like that?" I grumbled over to her. She just shook her head while running her small and slender fingers through her hair. I sigh under my breath, reaching for my cigarette box. I tear the paper from the opening and I flip the box open to pick one out. I place the butt of the cigarette between my lips before lighting the other end with my lighter, taking a long drag. 

     We arrived to a different hotel this time since the drive was so long and it was also getting dark so we all decided to stop. At least the hotel was bigger than the last so I was happy about that. Once we got our bags and stuff a woman with a dark red and white dress greeted us with a big and friendly smile. leading us to the receptionist desk. Apparently the girl was supposed to leave in the morning once the Speedwagon Foundation got there. "Everyone pick out a partner." The old man said. After we picked out our partners and Joseph paying for the rooms we all headed towards our rooms. I was with Kakyoin again. I sighed quietly under my breath before sliding the key into the lock, opening it. It was more of a suite than a small room. It had a living area, a bathroom, two bedrooms, and a small kitchen. I smiled at the sight and walked in, setting my bag on a table that was in the corner of the room with some pamphlets and a phone. I picked one of the pamphlets and read through it. "Hey, Kakyoin. This hotel does breakfast, lunch, and dinner services here." I smirked, turning to him as I held it up. He smiles then picks one up for himself. We both order something for ourselves for dinner. I got a club sandwich with a salad as a side and I also got us both a bottle of champagne because why not. Kakyoin said he got a meat mac n' cheese with a side of bread and butter. I just sit on the couch until the food arrived. About after an hour of waiting the food was ready and a hotel worker knocked on our door. Kakyoin took the food and said his thanks before closing the door. "The food is now here!" He said happily as he set the food on the coffee table.

     After we ate our food, a loud 'bang' was heard from the room beside us which was followed by a series of groans and grunts. I tilted my hat down and I shake my head at the couple who were having a good time. Kakyoin covered his mouth after his face was now blood red from the blissful noises. "S-Should I tell them to quiet down?" He asked, making his way to the door. I shook my head once again as I mumble 'yare yare'. We both sat in silence as the two across from us was finishing off. "Finally." My hands reach into my pockets. "Well, since they are done.. Should we get ready for bed?" Kakyoin looked over to me and smiled awkwardly. I just nodded, getting up before I walked to the bathroom. "I'll take a shower before bed." The smaller teen looked up at me and nodded. He opened his mouth hesitantly before speaking. "Could I join you? If not then that is fine too! It's just that I wanted a shower too before bed and since you are taking one then I should too." His hand was now placed behind his head as he smiled dorkishly. I thought for a moment, nodding once I opened the door. "Thank you Jojo." Kakyoin said with a hint of happiness in his voice. We both undressed and folded our clothes, setting them on the sink. I turned the warm water on, waiting for it to set. I stepped in with Kakyoin following behind me. I stood beneath the warm water, letting it hit my muscles and my hair. The other boy waited for his turn and did the same. I poured some hotel shampoo into my palm before massaging my scalp with my fingers as bubbles formed in my dark hair. I saw another hand grab the shampoo after I rinsed my hair out. I began to pour some soap into a wash cloth and scrub down my body. The other teen tapped my shoulder before speaking. "Hey Jotaro?" He asked. "Mm?" Kakyoin shifted a bit as he spoke. "I can wash your back if you want." I simply nodded and handed him the wash cloth. He pressed it against my lower back and pushed up slowly. He did that a few times before going to my shoulder blades, scrubbing them too. I exhaled through my nose and closed my eyes, allowing the water to fall onto my face while Kakyoin cleans my back. Normally Kakyoin wouldn't do this stuff nor even enter a shower with me. I guess he must be trying to have more courage. I grunted softly at the thought. After he was done, I offered to do his back. 

     Once we finished our shower, I began to get dressed in a plain white t-shirt and some normal sweatpants. Kakyoin just had his matching set of sleepwear. I picked out a room and so did he. We said our goodnights and left it at that. I let out a long, deep sigh before setting my uniform on a dresser that was under the television. My body found its way towards the king sized bed and flopped down into it. Jeez, this beats that last hotel we were at. The corner of my lips curl up a bit into a small smile as my eyes stare at a painting of some roses that were on the wall. They looked so real. "Damn, people actually have talent." I admired the painting a bit longer before getting back up. A part of me wanted to check on everyone so I made my way towards the door and out of the suite. After a few moments of walking, I made it to Polnareff's room. I knocked on it lightly and Eimi answers it with a yawn. "Oh, hey Jotaro." I nod to her, looking into the room. "Is everything good?" The girl nods, having a questioning look on her face. "Why do you ask?" I shrugged. "I just wanted to check on everyone before bed. She nods, saying goodnight as she closes the door. I head over to Avdol's room and knock. Joseph comes to the door and grins. "Hello, Jotaro. What do you need?" I told him that I was just checking on everyone. The old man laughs and hugs me tightly. I roll my eyes, telling him to let me go. After the whole hug fest I went back to my room. Once I enter, Kakyoin was in the kitchen pouring himself some water. "Hey Jojo. I didn't know you were out." He yawned, taking a drink of water afterward. I nodded as my hands snaked their way into the pockets of my sweatpants. The other boy smiled warmly at me, walking into his room and gently closed the door. I did the same, going into my room. I stared at the ceiling for what seemed like hours and it was only a few minutes. Why was I so sleep deprived? I would never know. It just seemed like everything was going to get interesting from now on. I couldn't shake that feeling off no matter what and it made me frustrated. I finally close my eyes, having my arms behind my head. I then drift off to a dreamless slumber. 

     I woke up to a light thump to the sliding door in my room. Thump, thump, thump. One after the other, it didn't stop. I groan aloud, ripping the curtain open as I see a dog hitting the door with his paw. "What the hell?!" I open the door slowly and the mutt dashes in. I run after it, screaming at it to get the hell out. Kakyoin opened the door and the dog bolts right out into the living area. He just watches in shock as I chase the dog down. After a few minutes of running, I finally catch him. A knock came from the door before Kakyoin opened it, revealing everyone else. "Ah, seems like Iggy found us instead." Joseph laughed out. "Iggy?" I asked, holding the dog up. "Mhm, he is now joining us and Eimi." I looked at Eimi and then to Iggy. "I thought she was going home." Kakyoin said. Joseph replied with a hum. "Well, this morning she came to me and said she changed her mind about leaving." I assumed that the Speedwagon Foundation brought Iggy with them while picking up Eimi. I sighed and brought my cap over my face. "Yare yare daze." 

{ A/N: Hello~ I guess this is another chapter for you guys. ^^ I hope you enjoyed. I wanted a bit of Jotakak in this chapter sooooo. Yeah. Again, I plan on making these scenes different from the ones in the anime so bear with me. If there is other things or some suggestions then please let me know. I would love to hear them. I might make another update tomorrow. I also might start on a different story soon.
