Chapter 11 - Battle #2

Hiccup and Astrid were pulled to a plank that sat at the side of the ship. Just then, an explosion was heard which saved them from walking the plank. Everyone looked up to see a Zippleback with two people on them.

All the ships are docked at shore. Hiccup and Astrid were left on the boats so they couldn't help in battle with four guards. What they didn't know was a black shadow creeping behind all of them before striking the guards one by one.

Hiccup and Astrid noticed the guards disappearing one by one but had no clue to what caused it when Astrid notices something. There was a black shadow in front of them. It then disappeared to reveal Cynder. "Surprise." Cynder said as she cut the ropes from behind their back.

"How did yo find us?" Hiccup questioned as he mounted onto her with Astrid behind him.

"Sparx knew where you were so I followed him as well as the beefy viking." The three of them flew closer to the battle. "You might want to cover your ears."

The battle was fierce. There were things flying on the air: Dragon, bolas, spears. As the dragon hunters were fighting, a loud screech was heard. Anyone who was affected by the screech stood still. This gave the dragons a chance to attack.

Hiccup and Astrid were looking for their dragons when all of a sudden, Cynder turned into a shadow. The both the two vikings were plummeting swiftly towards the ground when something blue caught them. "Stormfly!" Both Hiccup and Astrid said in unison. Afterwards, they heard a familiar roar. "Toothless!" They both said in unison again as they flew over to Toothless.

"Hey there bud. Ready to blow some of these traps up?" Hiccup's question was answered as they heard a loud boom go off. The twins, Fishlegs and Snotlout came flying towards Hiccup and Astrid.

"Guys! Where were you?" Fishlegs questioned as they all took to the sky.

"Finding Spyro, Cynder and Sparx which we did." Hiccup said.

"Well, Cynder did tell us where you were. Well mainly me and this mysterious rider." Fishlegs said as he pointed towards a masked person on top of a stormcutter. "So what do we do?" They all looked at the battle there the dragon trappers were winning. They were too distracted that they forgot to help in battle. Cynder, Spyro and Sparx came flying in. Hiccup got an idea but it was risky so he whispered something to Cynder as they flew away from the group.

"So Cynder, I was wondering. Remember what happened when we were at Berk?"

"Yeah? What about it?"

"I was wondering if we can make Spyro go however he was when his scales turned dark."

"No. I don't want to be pulled into my forth situation with Dark Spyro. But I do have an idea. What element is your dragon?"

"I'm not sure. Why do you ask?"

"Remember when we had that talk before Spyro went out?"

Hiccup was thinking. They were talking about how he wanted to know what happened and then... "Oh... I remember now. Well to be honest, Toothless can shoot plasma. Sparx did say something about you and him being special. What was that about?"

"Spyro is a purple dragon. Meaning that they are born once every ten generations. His kind is extremely rare since he can control more than one element. Remember the time Spyro and tried to escape? That was Spyro using his ice breath. He also has fire, electricity and earth."

Sparx did also say that you were special. How are you special."

"Unlike most dragons, I also have four elements. I got them from ever since I turned evil. I have poison, fear, wind and shadow. That is how I escaped the cage you held Spyro and I in."

The battle has been going for a while. The dragons and dragon hunters were still fighting. None of them have given up just yet.

Hiccup, Toothless has rounded up the gang, their dragons, Spyro and even the mysterious dragon rider and her dragon.

"Ok, so does everyone know the plan?" Hiccup tried to make it sound like they have got it. Everyone nodded in agreement. "So let's go!" They all left except for Hiccup, Toothless and the mysterious rider.

"Hiccup, stay safe please." Hiccup was shocked. He has never met this woman and she knows who he was.

"Ok. We better get going. Draco wants the alpha so we give it to him."

 Outside, Draco was trying to blast the ice nest in to get the alpha out. Just then, the mysterious rider came out from the nest with the alpha behind she flew down towards Draco.

"So Draco, I heard that you want the alpha. So what are you going to do?"

"Foolish dragon rider. do you think I came without a challenger?" Drago started screaming as another Bewilderbeast emerged from the water.

The battle is on...

Drago has done it. He has won. The Bewilderbeast started to control all dragons present. Luckily for Spyro and Cynder, they weren't controlled. "Woah, what is going on." Sparx Spyro and Cynder were confused.

"Stormfly? You ok?" Astrid was now terrified after what has happened. Stormfly then flew away as well as everyone else's dragons except for Toothless. Drgo saw Toothless struggle so he mounted on him. The dragons then took off. To Berk.

That was a but stressful but hey... It's done. I'll try and round it off soon.
