Chapter 9 - Finding Captured Friends

Spyro slowly started to wake up. He tried to move but was held down. He tried to move but it was hard so he tried to survey his surroundings so he can have a faint idea for where he is. Around him there was metal. 'I wonder where Cyn is. I could really use her help.' Spyro thought to himself.

Toothless. Has woken up from the effects of the tranquilliser. He looked around and started to panic. Not matter what he did, he couldn't escape.

Cynder woke up. She tried to stand up but couldn't so she surveyed her surroundings. She too was in a metal cage but separate to Spyro. Spyro. From what she could see, she couldn't see Spyro. There were ropes muzzled on her which made in nearly impossible to take it off.

She tried to open her mouth but the ropes prevented her whole mouth from doing so. She then tried to use her tail which was pinned down completely. So were her wings. She tried to use her shadow breath just once more and it worked. She managed to slip out of the metal cage and went off to find Spyro.

Stormfly was already awake and was struggling against the ropes. While struggling, she noticed something black seeping through the cracks of the cage before reforming into a certain black dragoness. She tried to squawk in panic but couldn't.

"Shhh..." Cynder whispered as she cut the ropes. "Try not to make a sound or we're in trouble." Stormfly nodded in agreement. "Ok, time to find Spyro and the other black dragon."

"Alright, that is the last of the roof repaired for now." Snotlout said as he climbed down the ladder. "Now can we go and find Hiccup, Asrtid and those mysterious dragons?"

Ruffnut and Tuffnut looked over in Fishlegs' direction. "Yep since we did what we could." He mounted onto Meatlug as they took to the sky. "Come on. I want to investigate these dragons further and where they came from." Snotlout mounted onto Hookfang followed by the twins.

They have been flying for hours and the weather started to drop. The riders were shaking while their dragons took control. There wasn't much in the way as they flew by. They then soon came up to a giant spiky ice dome. The teens tried to turn their dragons around but their dragons flew towards it.

The structure became closer as the flew closer. They have never seen something like this before. All of a sudden, they dropped into a tunnel that was at the base of the thing. There were many twists and turns until they ended up in a strange icy place. In front of them, there were many dragons flying around an icy pillar.

"I have never seen something like this." Fishlegs kept surveying his surroundings when he heard a feminine voice and a growl. This caught the rest of the remaining teens attention and their dragons.

"I'm glad you like it." The female voice which belonged to a rider with her mask on. Behind her was a stormcutter.

Welp... I think that this chapter is #!$%. I also decided to reveal who this mysterious rider is and where Spyro, Cynder, Hiccup and Astrid is.
