Chapter 8 - Searching

Spyro was about to use his convexity breath when Cynder came flying out of nowhere and tackled him.

"Spyro stop." Cynder had Dark Spyro pinned. "Please I need you."

Dark Spyro continued to struggle. "Not until they pay for what they did."

It was tough for Cynder but she had to keep him pinned. Sparx looked terrified. "Dude. Calm down."

Cynder was becoming tired with Dark Spyro underneath her. There was another option that she could do. She leaned close to Spyro's face.

The gang were confused about what has happened. Fish was the first one to speak. "Who are you three?" The the dragons and dragonfly flew off with Hiccup and Astrid on their dragons before chasing after them. "Wait, you're leaving us?"

Hiccup didn't know what to say so Astrid spoke. "Why don;t you guys just help repair the village up a bit. This would help you to stay out of trouble." All around them, the buildings were destroyed.

Spyro, Cynder and Sparx continued flying away. It was pretty quiet. Even for Sparx so he was the one that broke the silence. "Spyro, how did you get here?" He hasn't spoken to Spyro in a while.

"Oh, I managed to repair the world and all of a sudden, we were teleported here."

"Well, it is finally nice to talk to you bro."

"Same here... So is the evil-she dragon going to stick with us now?" Sparx said mockingly at the end.

"Of course I am..." Cynder butted in.

"I remember what you said while I tried to repair the world." Sparx looked confused.

"I don't mean to interrupt this moment but we got company." Spyro and Cynder turned around and saw two dragons flying straight towards them.

Hiccup, Astrid, Toothless and Stormfly has been flying for some time now. They have found the dragons so they tried to catch up when they took an unusual turn towards an island. They followed them even though they didn't know where they were.

The four of them landed and the three of them didn't look happy.

"So Hiccup? Why did you follow us?" Spyro sounded grumpy.

"All we want are answers. I want to find out what happened before the attack and your powers.

Spyro and Cynder wanted to tell Hiccup about their powers but was too afraid about what could happen so Sparx spoke for them. "Well Spyro and Cynder are special. Their powers are different from any other dragons." Sparx turned towards Spyro and Cynder afterwards. "You don't have to tell them if you don't want to."

Spyro and Cynder smiled towards him. "Thanks bro." After Spyro said 'bro' Hiccup and Astrid were confused.

"Bro? How can you both be siblings if one of you is a dragon and the other is a dragonfly?" Astrid questioned as Hiccup nodded in agreement.

"Well technically, I'm adopted. Ever since the war, my egg was taken to a river to be saved and when I hatched, our parents or my foster parents took me in."

The five of them decided to share information when all of a sudden, a dart comes flying into Cynder's side. She fell unconscious. Spyro ran over to her and too fell unconscious. All around them, there were men with blow darts and firing the darts over in their direction where only Hiccup, Astrid and Sparx remained.

Ooh.. what has happened to them...

I don't really wanna give the next chapter away but if you have seen the second one you might have an idea on who is behind the attack

School is coming close to an end. I can't wait to see who got me for Secret Santa
