It had been one week since the truth or dare night Ant and Maddy's siblings had organised. Yet, much to the annoyance of their friends, nothing at all seemed to have changed between Ant and Maddy.

"No Jess, nothing. He hasn't done anything about it, he hasn't said anything about it, and I'm fucking glad he hasn't!" Maddy yelled, furiously slamming her locker shut.

"Woah there. I didn't mean to make you angry. I'm guessing I'm not the only one who's asked you?" Jess smirked.

Maddy glared at her friend, giving Jess all the answer she needed. Maddy was avoiding discussions about Ant as much as possible. No, absolutely nothing had changed. And even though she said she was happy Ant hadn't done anything, Maddy definitely was not happy.

Since that evening, Ant hadn't mentioned anything to do with their kiss or Maddy panicking after. In fact, their friendship had gone back to the same way it had been beforehand.

That disappointed Maddy. A lot. It wasn't like she could say that. Finn had been annoyed at Ant, and Fontaine had been pressing for information. Ant hadn't changed at all.

"Hey guys. Coffee Mads?" Ant smiled walking up to the girls.

Maddy greatfully snatched the coffee from his hands and sipped it, knowing she'd need caffeine to handle the day.

"Honestly I hate you both." Jess groaned as the rest of their friends showed up.

"We're here! Hey anteline." Rayla greeted.

"I don't even want to know." Ant gritted out.

"How's Ezran?" Fontaine asked, attempting to ease the tension.

"He's good!" Calum smiled happily.

While their friends were distracted by the discussion on Ezran, Ant an Maddy snuck off.

"Where'd they go?" Finn asked.

"There's nothing we can do to help them now." Rayla said grimly.

"What are you talking about?" Jess scoffed.

"They are being stubborn. We can't force them to do anything." Rayla replied.

"Let's lock dm in a room together and bribe the drama teacher into giving them the roles for Romeo and Juliet in the play we're doing." Alpheus smirked.

"Oooooooooh snap. Hell yes we are going to do that. Everyone give me $100." Finn ordered.

Meanwhile, Ant was feeling very frustrated. His friends had tormented him all week, and when he said nothing had changed what he really meant was "things are really awkward and I'd like to do that dare again."

Maddy hadn't spoken about that night once. Ant tried to but met a dead end, and he realised it wasn't worth it. He'd just have to deal.

"See you after class Maddy." Ant called to his best friend.

"See you soon." Maddy smiled back.

Ant huffed. Maybe he should try getting a girlfriend? That might help his cause.

Asif by magic, Gabriella North, one of the richer girls in school smacked straight into Ant, and smiled.

"Morning Anteaus." Gabriella smiled.
