Chapter 3 - Searching for Answers

Hiccup has moved closer towards Nina who moved closer to him.

"Aww. Isn't that cute. Wish my son was here to see this."

Hiccup thought that it was offensive to whoever his son was so he shot a plasma blast to the voice but nothing happen.

"Nice try. Once I'm out, Everyone shall bow down towards me."

Fishlegs and Cynder remained at the temple in search of answers. "Have you found anything yet?"Fishlegs curiously asked Cynder.

"No. Nothing interesting." Cynder never took her eyes off the rubble from the destroyed bit of the temple. "We have to keep searching for the ans..."

"How about we try and ask for someone to see if they know." Fishlegs stopped searching and took off into the air with Cynder catching up slowly. "Where are we going to get answers?"

"The guardians would know but there are rocks..." Cynder gestured over to some rocks where Fishlegs started to eat them. "That can do as well."

The pair has made it onto the guardians' chamber but what was shown was shocking. The whole entire place was a mess. "Come on. The answers might be here." The two of them were trying to dig through the rubble.

The two of them were digging around until Fishlegs found a dark purple crystal so he decided to tell Cynder immediately. 'Cynder, I found a dark purple crystal. Does that help?" Cynder came running towards Fishlegs and destroyed it. "Why did you destroy the crystal?"

"Come on. We need to find Spyro and Astrid and warn them." Cynder took off and Fishlegs picked up a broken shard and flew behind.

"What were those crystals anyways?"

"If you see another one of those crystals, destroy it immediately."

Fishlegs still doesn't get it. "How come?"

"Those crystals radiate dark magic." Fishlegs understood but decided to keep the shard.

Spyro and Astrid were flying over a large sea. "Wait. Who is this Chronicler person?"

"The Chronicler can help us. He is always in a library filled with books so he can tell us what to do." They eventually heard two things flying from behind.

"Astrid. Spyro. We found something." Fishlegs pulled out a park purple shard. Astrid was intrigued but Spyro immediately whacked it out from his paw. "Ow. What was that for."

"Do you know that those crystals are dangerous?" Fishlegs stayed silent.

Cynder flew up to him. "Come on. Let's go to the Chronicler's lair."

The four of them have made it to a random island in the middle of sea. Cynder, Fishlegs and Astrid had no clue about why they landed but Spyro did. "Welcome to the White Isle."

They started to walk towards a massive broken door with a hole in the corner so they flew through

Spyro has completed the final test and they proceeded towards a large chamber with shelves everywhere. In the centre of the room was an hourglass. Fishlegs was excited so he ran towards the shelves of books. He was browsing through when he found one about purple dragons so he pulled it out but a voice stopped him.

"Careful their Fishlegs. These books are precious." A voice ran through the while entire place. Astrid had her guards up as well as Fishlegs but Spyro and Cynder were excited. A large figure came walking out a blue dragon.

"Ignitus!" Spyro came running towards him. Cynder did the same thing.

"Spyro! Cynder! What's the situation?"

"Well Hiccup and Nina are missing and we need to know where they are." Spyro told Ignitus so Cynder added extra.

"The guardians are gone and Fishleg found a dark crystal in their chamber." Ignitus was shocked. He then pulled a book off the shelf whtch earned some woah from Fishlegs.

"Ok. Everyone gather around. I want to tell you all something. Especially you Spyro." Spyro was pumped to hear the news. The pages flipped automatically to a female dragon holding a purple egg.

Spyro was examining the pages when Astrid said something. "Is that Spyro's egg?"

Ignitus was surprised. "Yes it is. Why do you ask?"

"Why does the book say that?" Astrid pointed to some words on the front of the book. Spyro and Cynder were shocked.
