A week later...

Richard had started to sleep with the light stand light on after the dreams he had. Not to mention the weird sounds he would hear whenever Zeldia wasn't home or was in her bedroom.

Any creek or unfamiliar shadow would make him jump or gasp. Zeldia was convinced he was starting to go nuts and needed to see a doctor.

She was heading out the door to see him transfixed on his divorce settlement papers. Richard owed his ex wife money and welfare couldn't cover everything.

"Bye Richard!"

Hearing him not acknowledge her wasn't no surprise.

He was receiving money from the government and despite wanted to do back into movie directing, he wanted to have a lot of cash from both. Even though it would make him owe money to the government in the end.

His lack of confidence and pride was what set him back.

As Zeldia was heading to the campus she was hoping to see Damon Salvatore again. Their was something about him, whatever it was she wasn't quite sure.

At the campus...

Damon came to the next poetry recital and of course Zeldia was there.

Zeldia was excited to hear that the poetry club was throwing a dinner party for their hundredth recital. The only problem was that they had no idea where to hold it. It came to the final decision that it had to be held at one of the members home. As to whose home exactly it hadn't yet been decided.

A few of Zeldia friends spoke about having a dinner party at her place. Allannie and Sheila were thinking it over.

"Say Zeldia, would you want us to have it at your place?" Sheila asked.

"You're forgetting it's also my brother's place as well?" She clarified.

Allannie shook her head.

"Yeah... He would probably not allow it huh?"

Zeldia became sad.

"Not to mention he's SO overprotective of you."

"Sheila is right, he always think if you don't come straight home it's all a panic to him."

"It isn't just that."

"It also involves dating as well?" Allannie asked.

"Yes, he thinks I don't know when a guy is being sweet from being a jerk."

Allannie and Shelia both shook their heads.

"You know better, unlike him." Sheila remarked.

"Indeed." Allannie added.

Zeldia mind was made up.

"Whether Richard likes it or not, we're having this dinner party at his place."

The girls smiled and hugged her.

"Great I'll let everyone know." Allannie went to give the great news.

Everyone got ready for the recital and took to their sits. Zeldia saw Damon and wondered about him again. Did he like to be mysterious? Was he shy?

After a couple of minutes it was Damon's turn to recite.

Damon cleared his throat and recited his poem while looking straight at Zeldia.
