based on all you wanna do from six the musical, but just before katherine howard starts singing, she says a little something to the queens. in this fic, let's just pretend that joey and lauren have gsces to study for and she complains about which queen got it worse.

Lauren and Joey were sat in Joey's bedroom, where they had GSCEs to study for. Basically, they had to read through the history of each of Henry VIII's wives, and were told that they had to, in their opinion, list which queen had the worst time while with Henry, and come up with a reason why.

"You know, Joey," Lauren looked to her boyfriend, "I think Katherine Howard had it worst." Joey, after sipping his water, replied, "Why would you say that?" Lauren looked down at her book to quickly summarize her notes in her head before speaking.

"First of all, let's rule out why the other queens aren't eligible for the position. Catherine of Aragon - almost moved to a nunnery and then not, must've been really hard for her." Joey snickered at Lauren's words, impressed to see where this was going. 

"And Anne, Anne getting her head chopped off, surely she got it worse- oh wait wait," Lauren began to count on her fingers. "Divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, behe- oh..." Joey smiled, beginning to realize why he started dating her in the first place.

"Jane Seymour, dying of natural causes, WHEN WILL JUSTICE BE SERVED?!" Joey was rolling on the floor laughing, loving Lauren's reasons. He thought about how easy he was gonna pass.

"Anna of Cleaves, seriously, jokes aside, being rejected for her looks, must've been really rough. Not like Katherine would know anything about that," Lauren closed her book. "So Katherine definitely got it worse, huh?" Joey questioned, taking notes. Lauren nodded before proceeding to flop down on the bed, exhausted out of her mind. Joey then joined her, trying to push his arm under her neck. 

"You know, I'm pretty sure this is why I love you so much."
