day 1 of quarantine:

i started this diary to keep track of what me and my boyfriend joey do during this hard and confusing time. it doesn't seem like it'll go very well but we'll see. joey is very sad that he can't go out and buy any taco bell. i am too, but this just means that we had to go to the store to buy taco shells and such. however, the queue was way too long, and we looked stupid standing in massive lines for just a basket of groceries, whilst everyone had several shopping carts full of stuff.

day 5 of quarantine:

joey and i have started a quarantine exercise routine out of boredom. i have discovered that he can do up to 30 pushups, while i can do at least 5. right now, we are trying to make fettucine alfredo because, once again, joey can't go to olive garden. he also washed his hands 10 times today and refuses to stand close to me. he's very worried, and i feel him.

day 16 of quarantine:

joey and i just finished our 10-day disney movie binge. we gathered all the disney dvds we had in the house and watched them non-stop these past 10 days. joey has also made me subscribe to netflix and disney+, because he gets bored of tv and youtube. we have also started reading manga and book series, like tokyo ghoul and the game of thrones books. unfortunately, because we can't go to the bookstore, we've had to download ebooks, but plan on buying physical copies.

day 23 of quarantine:

i'm worried about joey. these past few days he's made me think about so much stuff by just spurting out random sentences, like "anxiety is like when video game combat music is playing but you can't find any enemies", or "somebody at google was like "yeah, just have someone drive down every road on earth"". i had no answers for him at all and he seemed impressed. i posed an interesting idea to him by saying, "the olympics is the only time when you hear "great execution by north korea" and it seems okay". he was speechless.

day 30 of quarantine:

it's been a month since quarantine began, and i'm very surprised how well we've adapted. we've stopped exercising though, and despite the whole "social distancing" thing, joey and i have grown closer to each other. he's asleep right now, and so is my thigh, because that's where he's decided to lay his head. it's 11pm so i should also probably get to bed, and continue this diary throughout this quarantining period.
