Chapter Eight

Pete put the suitcase on the table and opens it, finding it full of files, a files that contains almost all of the cutthroats information.

"Are you sure this is everything?" Pete asks, rather harshly, Chompoo and she nods vigorously as Pete takes the folder out of the briefcase.

"Yes, P. This was everything P'Fai could find." Chompoo says fearfully, because she's seen what happens when Pete gets angry and Pete nods as Ae and Pond walk up to them.

"What is that?" Ae asks and Pete looks at him with pissed off expression.

"Information on the cutthroats, we're trying to see if we trap on of them at least and hope they some valuable information concerning the Alternate." Pete says and Ae nods, looking over Pete's shoulder as Pete grabs a few files before giving to Chompoo. "Take these and look through them, find anything you deem useful. It must be useful." Chompoo gulps as Pete, what seems to be glaring into Chompoo's soul and Ae frowns before taking the files away from Chompoo.

"Didn't she just fall from a tree, she needs to rest." Ae says and Chompoo smiles at him shyly.

"I'm fine, P. Don't worry about me." Chompoo says and Ae smiles softly at her, Pete rolls his eyes before taking the files from Chompoo's arms.

"Fine, you can look through the files for her." Pete says as he shoves them into Ae's chest. "Make yourself useful instead of flirting with my agent." Pond laughs and Ae glares at him along with Pete. "And Pond, you can help to." Pond groans as Pete purposely shoves the files harshly into Pond's stomach. "If you can laugh, you work. And you better work, unless you really want to see what happens when I really get angry." Pond gulps remembering the last time as Chompoo shudders and Ae frowns hard.

"Y-yes sir." Pond says and he sits down at the table as Pete nods firmly before sitting as well along with Ae, hoping to find something.

However, they didn't have any luck. Most of the files were pretty much just full of all of their crimes, nothing they can really use.

"There's nothing here, but petty crimes." Ae complains and Pete glares Chompoo.

"I thought you said Fai gave you everything?" Pete snaps and Chompoo whimpers.

"I promise P, she gave everything she could find. I'm sorry, P' Pete." Chompoo wails and Ae looks at them in disbelief, why is Pete blaming her?

"Don't blame her for your frustrations, Pete. She did what you asked of her." Ae says and Pete glares at him.

"Did I ask for your opinion, Intouch?" Pete asks and Ae stands up from his chair, staring down at Pete.

"Did I ask for your attitude, Pichaya?" Pete glares at Ae before standing up from his chair.

"I don't know if you have noticed, but we just wasted three hours going through-" Pete turns to Chompoo. "useless information." Chompoo looks down in shame and Ae growls.

"It's not her fault, she did exactly what she was asked to. How you stop being such a bitch and ask Fable what's her name to send more information?" Pete scoffs a laugh.

"Are you giving me orders?" Pete questions while Pond looks up from the files he was reading.

"Um Ae..." Ae shrugs as he smirks at Pete.

"Well last time I checked, we're forced to be partners so I'm sorry if you can't take some instructive criticism when you're clearly in the wrong." Ae comments and Pete's glare on him intensifies as Pond watches them.

"Ai Pete, I..."

"Excuse me?! What gives you the right what I do with my agents?! At least I'm not some cruel murderer like you filthy gangsters!" Chompoo shrinks in her seat while Ae grits his teeth.
