Austin's POV

I looked into Bris eyes, and finally. I told her everything.
"Basically, the way I spiralled into this addiction of mine...It started from my REAL moms death...she was murdered by a hitman, see our mom was really busy and one day, she found something out. Me and my real brother - Joseph, believe she found out about the gods amongst us. Some hitman, with a very professional look, came after her.
We were just eating dinner. We were eating cow meat that day, she could barely afford it, but me and Joseph were behaving very well that week...
I was ready to eat another bite, wen I herd a window crash open, next second I knew, me and Joseph were cornered. The hitman wanted to take us hostage, turn us into slaves for all we knew!
Until our mom stood in front of us. She looked so determined and angry, she didn't want ANYONE to hurt us, even if I was complaining about a fly in my room. My ma would obliterate that spy in seconds!"
I stopped for a second to let out a laugh, it was only to prepare myself for what I was going to say...
"So wen she screamed at them, to not touch us, they say'd. 'We'll let the kids live, if you come with us.' She refused to go, but she wouldn't let me see what was going on. I was holdin' onto Joseph's legs, well his jeans. Only one of my eyes could see what was going on. The man that broke into our home. Pulled out a gun. And aimed at...ya guessed it, ya boi - Austin.
Wen he was about to shoot. My mom grabbed his hand, so he would shoot up at the ceiling, but instead - it landed on our wooden chandler. It wasn't a professional one, it was cheap, we got it at a garage sale. It was only I dollar.
The bullet shot through the rope, and it fell on top of my mom and the man. And bam, both of them died...I was only eight, and my brother was IO.
My brother wasn't that devastated...he was really odd in fact, he never even really...loved my mom that much, he thought she was a liar. A well...slut."
Bri looked at me with shock in her eyes, she didn't seem like she was expecting that.
"What? Why so love?"
I let out a small sigh.
"Well, Joseph was thought to be suspicious for many things. He was very suspicious of our mom. She always kept things away from us.., but me? I was devastated, mom was the only adult left in our lives! At her funeral, I can swear you almost nobody cried...as if nobody truly cared anymore...
Then we got put into the cursed place called...child-care facility or whatever...me and Joseph were adopted by a redhead lady named Wendy, she had her own business, but in the end...no family.
The day we came back with her to her home was amazing! It was massive! And I couldn't wait to live there with my brother! Everything seemed so great...
After a good few days, it was amazing. Then, the school my brother went to...had a school shooting. He defended a small kid, and in the end...he died from an injury in his scalp...
So that left me, and Wendy...all alone.
I decided to try alcohol, and got addicted to it, Wendy helped me get out of that hole before it got to deep for me to escape, but...the urges never left me...
I got relentlessly bullied at my new school. Everyone called me a teachers pet, or a cheater with girls, even tho I wasn't even interested in the datin' scene! But now I'm here...with you. And everything's amazing..."
I smiled to Bri, I was still laying on her lap...I never realised how amazing it felt to say those things to another person I trusted...
She smiled sadly at me, only for her eyes to turn into a brighter blue.
"It's okay Austin.., don't worry about it...You're amazing, because you're...well, you!"
I let out a Cheeky giggle, I felt her hand slowly run down my face, only to move a hair to the back of my ear...I guess I really am a big softy...eh?
I quickly sat up, and hugged Bri...I couldn't wait for the ball...5 days...and the dancing, goofing around will begin!
Also, I'm totally spiking the punch with Tomb juice.
Me and Daveed already made a plan! Me, Inmo and Daveed will go on an ultimate Tomb juice rade tomorrow!

I looked at Bri, slightly shocked...a-wah?

I felt my face go from joyful, to so RED YOU COULDN'T HIDE FROM IT!

I smiled, slightly embarrassed by how red I was...but what can you do? Right..? He he...

Bri smiled and well.., she kissed me. Right on the lips...a second kiss...
I felt like my body was falling into heavens grace... everything of that kids was incredible...
Until we herd a knock at the door.
We quickly jumped off one another, and I opened the door...only to see...Xylo.
"Xylo? What are you doing here?"
He looked at me with his...red eyes...
It made me feel a chill run down my spine...I saw a small pink light glimpse through his eyes and immediately looked away...
Certain colours can make people's brains be hypnotised...have a lucky guess which one mine is...that's right! Pink...
Bri ran in front of me and looked...it...in the eyes.
"What do you want from him?"
Her voice sounded like two people.., but at the same time...not really...I couldn't place a finger on it...
Xylos 'actor' started laughing in a psychotic way...I felt sweat drip down my face like an escape route in a haunted house...
"You know Bri...You always HAVE!"
Bri put her foot on the ground and pushed him far away, he hit his back onto the cabin wall...and a battle of the two began...This wasn't going to end well...Was it?
