Austin's POV

My eyes widened, the soft pink Bri I had just hugged, was suddenly evil looking!
Her skin turned paler, black sharp horns grew out of her soft pink hair, her eyes went dull.
One flower bloomed from Bris skin on her arms, and it continued to spread, vines attaching themselves to Bris skin like parasites. The flowers themselves released a dark energy, I cold feel it.
Her lips still looked kissable though...GAH! What are you thinking about Austin!? She just turned evil?! Or did she...? Still! She cold be evil!
I took a step back.
Her wings started turning darker, as the feathers at the near end of her wings started to fall off, making sharp, uneven edges, similar to spikes.
Her eyes opened. She was staring right at me.
At first her expression was dull, then shocked, then flustered, then natural. It was an interesting watch I guess?
Still!
Bri was just...looking at me, dead into my eyes, it was like she was looking at every single part of my face. My eyes especially...It was odd to say the least!
"Uhh...Hi?"
I decided to break the silence between all of us.
Ritchie and Micheal were still near me and Bri...I think.
"Hello"
She answered, still looking into my eyes. I felt a slight bit of anxiousness and butterflies run through my belly...
Her eyes always look beautiful in my opinion...and no one can change it! Muahaha!
"So ummm...H-How are you feeling? W-What did the little thingy I gave to you do?"
She looked away from me after I broke the silence for the bit.
She looked at herself. She skimmed through the vines on her hands, the flowers attached to them as well...
Micheal finally stood in.
"Bri, how are you feeling?"
She looked at him, her eyes, so much more duller, than wen she looked at me.
"Who are you?"
Micheals face changed from worried to utterly defeated in a second!
I started laughing, like c'mon! That was pretty funny!
She looked over to me, I got a small glimpse of her smirking to me. Her eyes had those small bright hearts in them again...
"Excuse you! I'm Micheal, that's Ritchie, and that's Austin!"
His voice cracked at LEAST two times.
Every single time he say'd a name he would point to that specific person, wen he say'd Ritchie, he pointed at Ritchie, wen he say'd my name, he pointed at me!
She looked over to me, huh, she really likes looking at me, doesn't she?
"Yeah I know, I am Bri after all!"
She let out a childish giggle.., but oddly enough, it didn't sound real. It sounded more metallic than usual...
I think Ritchie and Micheal noticed as well...
I decided to let out a giggle as well, it's still funny! Just a bit weird...

...

After a while, we were back at camp
"UGGGHHHH FINALLY!! TOO MUCH WALKING HURTS MY LEGS!"
I screech out. Micheal looked at me and sighed.
"Ritchie, I'm going to my cabin, okay? Inform if anything happens to these idiots"
Ritchie nodded and Micheal he'd back to his cabin.
"Hey, Austin! Lead Bri back to her cabin okay?"
I looked at him with a sparkle in my eye. I felt the joy I felt turn into a big and warm smile.
"Okay dokey! C'mon Bri les' go!"
I grabbed Bri by the hand and waved 'bye' to Ritchie and led Bri into the entrance of the camp
"Hey, Bri, you feelin' okay?"
She looked at me once more, her face seemed a tad red.
"Yes, I'm fine Austin. How are you feeling?"
I looked up at the sky that was filled with gorgeous stars, the sky was a soft red and blue mix and the clouds were mixed with the sky color.
"I'm okay! I fell a bit woozy, y'know after the fight, but either than that, I'm great!"
I give her a big smile. Her eyes wondered to my own, her eyes had some bright glowing hearts in them. It was odd...
She smiled as well, her smile was far more real, than it was in the cave with Ritchie and Micheal.
I grabbed her by the hand and wandered to the small bridge.
"Hey, Bri?"
I looked to her. My heart skipped a beat.
She's ben talking about the Aphrodite ball for so long...
I was prepared to ask her, I felt my checks turn into a slight red. My eyes shined with anxiousness...
"Yes L-A-Austin?"
She answered...I grabbed her hands and pulled her between us. I looked at her, it was a tad awkward, 'cause I'm just a tad shorter than everybody in the camp, including Bri.
"S-so uhh...y'know how you've been talking about the Aphrodite ball?"
I paused, awaiting her answer. My hands were pretty sweaty, but my eyes seemed to sparkle more and more, my cheeks turning hotter and hotter.
"Yes, of course...I apologise for, bothering you with it-"
"No, no no! That didn't bother me! It just m-made me think t-that...maybe we should g-go tog-ether?"
My eyes were pointed at Bri. My smile has finally gotten to the point, were i felt so happy to be here...now...all I could do is wait for her answer.
Bris eyes shined with joy, her pale skin turned slightly pink. Her hands turned from cold to warm...she looked so cute...AGH! AUSTIN CHILL!
"Of course I'll go with you!"
She let go of my hands and surrounded my neck in a strong hug. She was hugging me tightly.
I hugged her by her waist. My hands were getting warmer.
She suddenly stuffed her face into my neck. She sniffed my skin, I felt my face turned more red.
"Want m-me to lead y-you to you're cabin madam?"
Bri freed me from her clutches. She nodded in agreement.
I took her by the hand and walked her to her cabin, we stopped by some roses, I accidentally touched one of the spikes of the roses.
"OUCHY!"
I let out a yell. Blood started dripping off my finger, it had a small touch of a gold add on.
"Are you okay?"
Bri asked, as she sat down by me.
"Yeah, imma be fine, just a small cut!"
Some blood accidentally got on Bris finger...OH SHOOT I DOOKEY DOOKED UP!
"PFF, I'm so sorry!"
I say'd. She saw the concern in my eyes...and yet she smiled to me..,but like not in a way of, 'is gonna be okay', but more of a : 'You look so blah blah blah wen you're scared'.
It was odd for sure.
Once I had finally led her to her cabin i waved bye to her.
"Hey, Austin, wold you mind coming in pink to the ball?"
She asked me, although I'm no fan of pink, I'm not against it!
"No, of course not! I'll see you tomorrow, get some rest Bri!"
I waved bye to her AGAIN, and went back to my own cabin.
I sat down in my bed, suddenly, the reality hits me.
BRI AGREED TO GO!
I fell on my bed, backwards and giggled. The joy I was feeling was so...Alive! So, so, so alive! It felt so great!
I sighed and looked through my window, I saw a small star shine brighter than usual.

The next morning I herd somebody knocking on my door. Who ever it was, wasn't very calm about it.
I opened the door widely.
"Hello?"
