So things have been going great in my life besides my marriage Klay and my situation have been getting out of hand with him being on the road more coming home late at night I don't know what to do but on the brighter side Dinah and I became close she's a really good friend and I really need it so today Dinah asked me to help her out with something for her mom's party So I'm heading over there now I get to her house and for some reason I'm really excited to see her I got out of my car heading to her front door she must been looking through the window or something because I didn't even get a chance to ring her doorbell before she open the door.
"Hey Destine." She said cheerful damn she look so good right now damnit Destine focus your married.
"Hi Dinah how are you?" I asked as she let me in.
"I'm good."
"Destine." Malaya yelled as she ran to hug me. She the cutest little girl I ever seen beside my niece of course.
"Hi munchkin how are you?" I picked her up and hug her.
"I'm good I miss you so much."
"I miss my favorite little diva more."
"Hey I should feel offended." Dinah pouted.
"What she's cuter than you."
"Now I really feel offended I'm cute to you know." She was actually fine as hell but don't tell her I say that.
"Sure you are anyway what are we doing for your mom's bday."
"Well I have no idea but I do know I want my family to be there so that is where you come in because you are a great head planning parties."
"Well we got to find a big enough space for your all your family members because I swear ya"ll are like the whole Western Conference in one."
"Hey not funny I know it's a lot of us okay."
"So how bout a theme."
"Yeah that could work"
"Thinking Glitz and Glamour you know how your mom likes all the attention on her."
"Yeah you know she loved that" She rolled her eyes.
"Okay so glad that we got a theme we have to find a place we can discuss what else you want to do with your siblings and your dad."
"Mommy I'm hungry." Malaya came into you the living room where we was discussing Malika's party."
"How about I make my special lasagna."
"Oh yes."
"Yeah your mom used to love it all the time." I though about how much she loved my cook and how she would watch me cook.
"I still do the best thing I ever ate."
"Can I help you make it."
"Sure you can munchkin." Malaya and I got to work on dinner while Dinah did what she do best and that's watching.
Dinah's POV
While the girls were working on Dinner I decided to play some Call Of Duty in my game room I got two matches in when my doorbell ring I got up to see who it was at my door of course it had to be the one person I despise the most.
"Lauren what are you doing here." I know this bitch didn't just show up to my house uninvited.
"I came to talk to you about us and our family." She got to be kidding me right now.
"There's no us Lauren."
"See I miss you and I miss my daughter I want to make it right with you."
"Lauren I can't do that with you." She was making me feel uncomfortable in my own home.
"Yes you can baby I love you and our daughter." She leaned in to try to kiss me.
"DJ dinner's ready." Destine walk in thank God I never been so happy to see her a day in my life."
"What is she doing here Dinah." Lauren said with an attitude.
"Hello to you too Lauren." Destine smirk lord please give me the strength with these two.
"Lauren you need to leave please."
"No we need to discuss us Dinah in our family she needs to leave I don't even know why she's here."
"Look its clear that you guys need to talk and work things out so I'm going to go."
"Destine know you don't."
"Yes she do." Lauren was getting angry by the moment.
"Dinah I'm going to go okay y'all talk call me later." She grabbed her things and walked out the door I can't believe this. This is not how I saw my night going."
"Why just why I don't want you and I never will if it's not about co-parenting with me then I don't want to hear it goodbye." I was mad as hell right know I needed her to leave now before I said something I might regret.
"No Dinah." Is she really trying me right know because I'm not in the mood.
"I said leave." I open my door so she can walk out.
"Fine but this is not over" She told me as she walked out of my house oh yes it is I thought I slammed my door closed. she is just so damn annoying I promised myself that me and Lauren was done I tried to work it out with her but my heart didn't belong to her I never felt right and it never will.
"Mommy Mommy I think the food is ready where's Destine." Malaya ran out of the kitchen.
"She had something come up so she had to leave." I really didn't want to tell her the real reason why Destine left.
"No she didn't Mama made her leave why did she do that I hate her." Damn my child really is smarter then she looks.
"Hey now hate is really a strong word for you to use young lady now I know you may not like your mama but she still your mama okay so we're not going to say hate okay." As much as I dislike Lauren I don't want our daughter to hate her even if Lauren wasn't the best mother to Malaya.
"Okay Mommy."
"How about we go eat and watch some movies how dose that sounds?" I really needed to cheer my munchkin up.
"That sounds fun mommy" We went to eat some food which I got to thank Destine for and apologize for how Lauren acted but right now me and my daughter is just going to kick back and watch Disney movies all night.
