"A cookie?"

Jack raises his head and pulls down the hood from his head. He is staring at his friend, Mr North who happens to be a jolly, big fellow with a thing for naughty and nice.

"Umm, no thanks," Jack chuckles as he sees an elf stealing a cookie.

Mr North's big hand wipes the elf down from the plate and then he pulls the cookie off from the elves mouth. He places the half eaten cookie back on the tray and sits on the window still next to Jack.

"Again in your thoughts, aren't you?" Mr North hums and raises his thick eyebrow. His strong russian accent is giving his voice an unique twist.

"Yeah you got me," Jack says and presses his head against the window while looking out.

"What is it this time? Problems with Jaimee?" Mr North asked worried.

"No,no...he is still a believer and just started in high school...it's just that...where did winter come from anyway? It wasn't like I... really focused on creating it or anything and it has always been there, even before me. You know, Christmas is because of you, Toothiana keeps the precious memories, Sandy has been there for who knows how long, long legs has Easter and then there are Father time, spring spirit, autumn spirit, summer spirit...then there's..." Jack spoke and sighed.

"There's you, the trouble making winter spirit with fun as his center," Mr North said and pressed his finger on Jack's chest.

Jack pushed his hand away, "I know, I know! But there's been winter for a long long time before my human body was even born and how did I even end up like this?"

"That's a long story Jack Frost," Mr North sighs " we all had our beginning. A cookie?"

Jack narrows his eyes and freezes the tray in North's big hands.

"No cookies then," Mr. North blinks and throws the tray behind his back.

The elves quickly attack the tray and using little hammers they start to beat the ice to get the cookies. Both Jack and North stare at the sight, equally confused.

Jack laughs when an elf bites a frozen cookie and couple tooths of his break. The elf tosses the cookie away and it ends up to a yetis head. The yeti growls and looks at Jack, waving his big fist in the air.

"Sorry about that," Jack chuckles and grabs his staff from the ground.

He hops down from the window still, stretching out his long, thin arms and legs. To please Mr North he usually wore the light blue shoes that the elves had made for him when he was first asked to be a guardian of childhood. He only wore them when he was visiting Mr North though. Usually he was a barefooted young man with mischievous mind. He still had his old pants from when he was human but he had tied a strap around his legs to keep his pants together, they were a bit worn these days and shredded from the bottom but he still liked these light brown pants. He had switched his white shirt and brown cape when the modern era began and now he was wearing a blue hoodie. His clothes had some frost shimmering on the surface because of his cold skin.

"Well I am off North," Jack grinned and kicked off his shoes and then called for the wind.

The wind blew the workshops door open and he flew out from the door. Yeah, he could fly alright and make some awesome tricks while at it. Still he needed his G-ended wooden staff which was a bit taller than he was. His staff was actually the stick which he had used to save his sister from falling into ice during the coldest winter he could remember.

That day his human self had died and he had become what he was today, Jack Frost who is a cunning, playful and young spirit that can control wind and winter. Still, just recently he had become part of the Guardians of Childhood and made new friends after being alone and unseen for a long time.

Mr North, for the record is actually the Santa Clause who lives on the North Pole with yetis who actually make the toys and he has these elves - just because people believe that elves do the toys but actually they are just useless and clumsy beings. Still they are rather cute little guys. Bunnymund is also part of their team, the Easter bunny. Toothiana is a woman with beautiful wings, the keeper of memories and ofcourse - the well known tooth fairy. Sandy, the sandman is the one who controls dreams. With them Jack defeated the nightmare king, Pitch Black with help of Jaimee and his friends. Jaimee is actually a human boy who was the first child to believe in Jack Frost.

Even though things are finally better for Jack, he feels like something is off. Like there has to be something more in this life of his. And this thought has been growing inside of him lately.

His friends had noticed Jack acting different. Also they had a message from Man in the Moon who sometimes chatted with them, giving advices. Still, this time..the advice had been a bit questionable.

After Jack had left outside North had called in for an emergency meeting. He left Jack uninvited.

"Is everyone already here?" Bunnymund asked as he came in from the front door.

"Yes, they used my snowglobes to teleport. It is faster than those rabbit holes of yours" North spoke and crossed his arms where he had tattooed the words "naughty" and "nice".

"Alright mate, there's no way I am using your globes. So why are we called and where's that troublemaker?" Bunnymund asked.

"It's time. Bunnymund," Toothiana said and rubbed her arms.

They all glanced at each other and Sandy shook his head. The golden sand kept forming new figures above his head.

"Sandy, this is what MiM asked for. The day has come," Mr North says with a serious tone.

"So it has to be done, eh?"Bunnymund sighs.

"Yes I send Phil and couple other yetis to pick him up," Mr. North hums and rubs his beard.

And then, from out of nowhere the air seemed like it was vibrating and then three yetis popped out, tossing a bag on the floor. The bag kept squirming .

"Hey! What's going on! PHIL ! This isn't funny!" Jack's voice shouted from inside the red bag which had been tied shut.

"This is a direct order from MiM Jack and it's for your own good," Mr North says and seems a bit worried himself.

"MiM? Why haven't I heard of this! I am a guardian as well, open up the bag! North!" Jack yelled and the outside of the bag was frosting.

"Tooth, could you hand me the special globe which you got from Father Time?" Mr North reaches his hand towards Tooth.

"Tooth? Thank heavens...hey get me out," Jack says and tries to push the bag open from the inside. This situation was alerting, last time he was stuffed inside a bag and thrown into magical portal was when they tried to recruit him few years ago.

Toothiana held back her tears as she took the snowglobe from her tiny tooth fairies. She hands it over to Mr North.

"Here you go," she says, "Jack, this will be for your own good."

"What! Not you too! Bunny? Sandy? you guys are there, right? help!" Jack gasps and really doesn't like what's going on.

Mr North looks at the globe with blue sand inside of it. "Time sand...well, better act right now," he says and throws the globe and it breaks. A glowing portal appears and Mr North lifts the screaming and squirming bag from the ground.

"Good luck. Jack Frost." he whispers and throws the bag inside the portal with a swing.

It shuts immediately after Jack had disappeared inside of it. Toothiana is covering her mouth and still in tears.

"It had to be done, right?" Bunnymund asks. His long ears are against his head and his nose is moving like a nervous bunnys would.

"Yes, it had to. We will wait and see." Mr North says and had to sit down.

The friends stare at the empty spot where the portal had been.

A/N:

Here's the prologue. I hope you guys find it entertaining. I will be extra excited to write this book.

I really loved Frozen 2. The plot was amazing and I am so happy to hear about Elsa's and Anna's parents!
