A month had gone by now, there was still no sign of Midna waking up from her coma. Nightstrike was by the kids as they were playing a racing game. Raf was petting her as Jack and Miko played. Suddenly, Nightstrike turned her head to Midna. Raf felt the sudden movement and looked at Nightstrike. When he noticed that Nightstrike was looking at Midna, he said, "Don't worry, Nightstrike. Midna will wake up." Nightstrike let out a low bark and suddenly took off running. Raf quickly followed behind without catching the attention of Jack, Miko, and the bots that were in the main room. Nightstrike didn't slow down as she charged over to the medical bed and then jumped up. She landed on the bed perfectly.

Raf walked up to the bed and thought that Nightstrike was going to do what she normally did when she was on the bed. Nightstrike went up to Midna's face and started staring at it. She would occasionally sniff her face. It was strange behavior for Nightstrike. Usually, Nightstrike would laid down next to Midna with her mussle on Midna's chest or arm. She would occasionally put her ear against Midna's chest and listen to her heartbeat.

Nightstrike let out a low bark as she continued to stare at Midna's face. Raf whispered, "What's wrong, Nightstrike?" Nightstrike laid down, her body wrapped around Midna's upper half. She sniffed a little and let out a louder bark. Nightstrike's tail started wagging and she suddenly started acting very excited. Her bark was heard by Miko, Jack, and the bots. Ratchet asked, "Raf, why did Nightstrike bark?"

Raf looked at Ratchet and then said, "Well, Ratchet. Some dogs have such a strong sense of smell that they could smell something wrong with their owner. For example, there have been plenty of cases where people went to the doctors with their dog to prove to their dog that there was nothing wrong with them and they found out that they had an early stage of a disease or cancer. They were able to get rid of the disease or early stage cancer before it got worse. Now, it could be a similar case." Ratchet nodded and then scanned Midna to see what Nightstrike smelled that he didn't see. The scanners caught nothing wrong and Ratchet said, "There's nothing wrong that the scanners picked up." Optimus asked, "Then, what could be the cause for Nightstrike's usual behavior?"

Ratchet said, "I'm not sure, Optimus." Raf said, "The reason for Nightstrike's strange behavior is definitely nothing bad." Ratchet said, "What makes you so sure of that, Rafael?" Raf said, "Simple, Ratchet. Dogs wag their tail when they are happy or excited. Nightstrike wouldn't be wagging her tail if there was something wrong with Midna." Ratchet nodded in understanding and Nightstrike barked again. She then started licking Midna's face. Midna moaned and it caught everyone's attention. Nightstrike barked and Midna suddenly groaned, "Nightstrike, not too loud."

The bots and humans gasped. Midna slowly sat up and Nightstrike went behind her so she could sit up properly without having to keep herself up. She looked around and said, "Who's there?" Her amber eyes looked around the room, but her pupils appeared white instead of black. Midna rubbed the side of her head and said, "Where's my blindfold?"
