- Wow! - Sally breathed in delight as he entered the kitchen and saw a huge cake on the table, decorated with chocolate cream and pieces of fruit. Emily was already sitting at the table, patiently waiting for the hero of the occasion, and dangling her legs, with stars in her eyes looking at the cake and burning with the desire to try it. When she saw the boys in the doorway, she smiled and waved. Larry smiled back, and Sally, blushing a little, smiled back, and they both waved.

— Is that true for me?"! - Fisher exclaimed, sitting down beside her.

— Certainly. Treat. Cake is enough for everyone. Just do not eat a lot of sweets, and then nightmares will dream.  - Lisa smiled warmly as she left the kitchen.

"Thank you, Lisa. Wow! - he was literally dripping hearts as he stared at the cake, but then he noticed the writing on it and was surprised. - Huh? But on this cake ... does it say "Happy birthday"?

"That's another lie. -  Emily breathed softly as she lowered her gaze and hid it behind her bangs, her fingers Curling around the hem of her blue dress in her lap.

- This is the first time I've seen Sally so happy, - Larry thought, looking at his friend.

"It's your birthday, Sal.

"Oh! Really? - the blue-haired boy's face tightened in surprise.

So you won't have to cry any more. -   his friends thought at the same time.

- "Hey, Larry, Emily, tell me something about me. I ask, one of you answers. -   Fisher asked, picking up a piece of cake with his fork and lifting it to her mouth. She, blushing, accepted it, and the guy with a smile, he continued this occupation.

Brown-haired profoundly sad lowered the glance, but all same finding in itself forces, began:

"You grew up here with us, Sally. Your parents died in an accident, and my mom took care of us.

Lie... again.  - simultaneously is the mind of a boy and a girl.

"Oh, I see," -  Sal said thoughtfully, shoving another bite of dessert into Emily's mouth, then looked out the window, his head in his hands. — Damn, how I want to remember everything!

"Never mind," - murmured the brown-haired man, putting yourself and your friends mug with hot tea and starting to drink, you don't have to remember. You don't like living like this? - under the end of the voice brown-haired became quieter, and eyes darkened, but this not was in sight, so as he began to drink. Emily remained silent, lost in thought, glancing at her friends only occasionally. She hated lying, because it was akin to betrayal. And she swore to Rachel that she would never betray anyone, under any circumstances.

"Of course I do,"- she heard Sally's soft voice and the light touch of her fingers as they brushed a stray lock of fiery red hair behind her ear, and she turned her head in his direction.

"He... looks at me the same way he did then..." - she thought, looking into his eyes, almost the same as before. — Did he ... remember?"

He closed his eyes, still smiling, but when he opened them his face was thoughtful, and the blue eyes went back to the window, to the distance.

— But somehow I feel ... that I've forgotten a very important part of myself."

Suddenly the bell rang. The three of them froze in surprise.

"I'll go open it." -   Larry rose from the table.

"I'm with you." -   Emily jumped to her feet, clenching her fist against her chest.

I have a bad feeling...
