COLD HEARTS

CHAP 5

Yunlan was sitting in one of the meetings rooms on his own, studying the CV's for those who were going to participate in the interview. When he got into his hand Shen Wei's file, he gently smiled and set it aside.

Started with the interview Yunlan was direct and severe. He gave his decisions straight away to the person he rejected for a reason. He already had in his mind and heart chosen that beautiful sharp Shen Wei.

He took some interesting profiles and send them to another department to be working in some other positions though he wasn't the type to waist his efforts or others one. In doing his job, Yunlan was merciless.

Finally the last person to come inside the meeting room was Shen Wei. Yunlan put the chair too close to be facing him before the man got in, he wanted to see him and hear him close, since his voice was that low and soft.

"We see eachother again, Mr. Shen Wei" Yunlan smiled but his smile was a serious one. He shook the man's hand then sat back behind his desk having Shen Wei's Curriculum Vitae in his hands while he was studying it, he glanced at the shy face of the man.

"You didn't last in any job more than two months! Do you have any explanation?" Yunlan's expression changed into a neutral one that does not show any kind of feelings of consent or not.  Even anger cannot be read on his cold facial expression.

"Mm, I don't" answered Wei with his head down, he didn't have a proper explanation. He couldn't tell Yunlan that he was harassed and molested by his superiors at times and at other times, it was his ex-boyfriend's fault.

"You resigned or..." Yunlan didn't finish his sentence before Shen Wei interrupted him saying that he was both resigned at times and fired.

"Both, resigned and fired" Shen Wei was honest but he felt ashamed while saying so. He lifted his head up as he looked at Yunlan's face, which was dictated by loads of question marks and eccentricity.

"Okay let's discuss this some other time, are you ready to start today Shen Wei?" Yunlan's question was clear and straightforward, he hates wasting his time while his decision to hire the man was already settled.

"Not after you promise me first, that you will only djuge me based on my effectiveness and work results. I hope I can count on you Mr. Zhao" Shen Wei's words were hiding a deep meaning behind of what he said.

"That's easy, who you are and what you do outside this company is non of my business, I can only djuge you based on your abilities" Yunlan got up and handed his hand to shake Shen Wei's one as they have come to a deal.

Zhao Yunlan escorted Shen Wei through the company big departments and showed him all the important corners like the big meeting hall.

The security service department where he ordered them to prepare his pass, his uncle's office at the last floor then they headed to his department where the two will work along with eachother.

"This is our team" Yunlan introduced everyone to Shen Wei and showed him his office before they could go to Yunlan's one to discuss the contract and salary.

While Shen Wei reads the job contract, Zhao Yunlan took his full time to look at the simplest, hidden and subtle features that added to the beauty of this man in an unnatural way. 

Wei's beauty was not only a dazzling image from the outside, but there was a charm and sophistication in his personality that attracts the attention of anyone and imposes on those who speak to him to respect and value him and treat him with strange kindness.

Yunlan could not lift his eyes off of Shen Wei's admirable beauty before he spoke and and broke Yunlan's gazes towards him. The two looked into eachother eyes before one speak and the other answers.
