Double Knot

Chapter 2:

"Sir, your meeting with Mr. Tan is in 30 minutes, would you like to call a car?" Ms. Kim, Mr. Lee's secretary went inside the room.

"Okay." A faint smile was shown in Mr. Lee's cold face.

Lee Eunbi's POV:

This is so boring! I have nothing to do around my house.

I ran all over, tried to search the internet for something to do, but I'm still bored.

"Puma, do you think dad enrolled me to school today?" I talked to my small pomeranian who is white as snow.

"Imagine if I can go to school. New friends, new teachers, new friends, new teachers....." I stared at the clueless dog, questioning my life.

"Ah, this is so bori---ing!" I fell down my bed. "Ow"

No one's POV:

"She can start tomorrow." Mr Tan stood up and shook hands with Dong wook.

"I rest assure that no one will know our secret."

They exchanged gratefulness and went in their own way. Dong wook can't stop his self from smiling. To know that he can finally grant his daughter's wish- to go to school again.

"I'll go home early today, you can stay at the office on your own right?" Dong wook started his car and put shades on to avoid the shining rays of the sun.

"Ah, ye-" before Ms. Kim could reply, he went off.

"He's still charming." Ms. Kim thought to herself.

Lee Eunbi's POV:

There's nothing to do anymore. I stepped outside of the mansion. I walked until I get tired. I took deep breaths as I skipped around outside. I dreamt of what will happen to my other self.

What if I can go to school?

I found myself staring at my dog. Puma was running back and forth with a ball in her mouth.

"Fetch!" I knew what she was thinking.

We kept doing the same thing for 15 minutes till I got tired.

I looked from afar and found something familiar, a silhouette of a man walking towards me. It was dad.

"Bad news." He looked at me. Seeing him this time at this place is surprising.

"What is it?" I asked leaving behind my confusion.

"You're not going to stay at this house anymore." Hearing him said that made me more confused.

"You mean..." I tried to contain myself.

"You're going to school tomorrow." Dad showed his bunny smile and I jumped around. I can't believe this is happening!

"What's all the fun for? You're leaving me behind?" Mom smirked as she hold her bag and put her arms wide signalling for embrace.

I ran excitedly to her and shouted, "I'm going to school!"

"Oh really? Then we should cook your favorite meal." Mom never cooks, so I guess this is important.

"But, aren't you supposed to be at Paris right now?" Dad was watching us.

"Oh, I cancelled it just to be with my daughter." She stroked my hair as we head inside.

No one's POV:

Eunbi went to her room to get ready for tomorrow. Dong wook bought Eunbi her uniform and she was daydreaming.

On the other hand, In na and Dong wook cooked a meal for Eunbi.

"Are you sure this is a good idea?" In na tidied things up in the counter.

"No, she's been asking for it for a long time now." Dong Wook fixed the table.

"What if something goes wrong, like it did 7 years ago?"

"I doubt that will happened, I talked to the school's director about it. If something happens, I'll take extreme measures."
