Double Knot

Chapter 5:

"Ah, Ms. Lee, you're 13 year's old right?" The teacher asked her.

"Um, yes ma'am." The two girls sat there awkwardly.

"But you're in 10th grade?" The teacher put her glasses up.

"Yes, I finished 9th grade last year during my homeschooling." Eunbi smiled awkwardly.

"This is so awkward!" Mitzy leaned out and whispered, making Eunbi nod.

"Okay, please follow me." They both stood up and followed the teacher.

No one's POV:

"OMG! Hyunjin is here!"

"Yeah, he's usually busy."

"He's so handsome."

Hyunjin still had fans even at school. But, he's used to it. He's famous anyways.

The bell rang and Hyunjin sat at the back of the class, making everyone's eyes turn to him because of his magnificent aura.

"Oppa, I brought a lunch box for you!"  A girl handed a box to Hyunjin but Hyunjin didn't bother to look up.

"Oh c'mon, here's a box of chocolate my daddy bought from London." Park Aera, the school's queen handed him the chocolates, but he didn't care and rolled his eyes.

"The teacher's here!" A student shouted which made everyone go back to their proper seats. Mitzy went inside the classroom too.

"Okay class, before we start, I have three important announcements!" Ms. Jeon, Grade 10's adviser

Everyone moaned as they didn't care. Hyunjin didn't even care so he tried catching his sleep.

"Announcement #1, we have a new student. Treat her with kindness as she's very new to this environment."
Ms. Jeon looked at the door and everyone's interest was on the 'new' student. Everyone, except Hyunjin.

Eunbi stepped inside. As they saw her, some reacted and some didn't care. Because she is a nerd.

"Hi..my..name..is..Eunbi..Lee Eunbi." Eunbi stuttered and everyone clapped their hands.

Hyunjin looked at her because he thought that Eunbi was looking at him, but the truth is, Eunbi was staring at the trash can near him.

"Okay Eunbi, please sit beside Ms. Park Aera." Ms. Jeon pointed her the seat and Eunbi went to sit near Aera.

"Hi there! My name is Eunbi." Eunbi offered to shake hands but Aera just shrugged it off.

"Pigtails? What are you? A kid?" Aera instantly shown her her uninterested gestures.

"Okay, for announcement #2, we'll be changing seating positions." Ms. Jeon clapped her hands to get their attention.

"Everyone will pick from this box full of paper and your seating arrangement will depend on this." Ms. Jeon showed them the box and everyone went in front to pick the paper.

Hyunjin picked 4B, Eunbi picked 4B. Mitzy wanted to sit beside Eunbi so she finds the one who has 4B.

Aera wanted to sit with Hyunjin so she finds the student with the 4B too.

"Hey new girl, can we change seats?" Aera grabbed the paper rudely, "Thanks nerd!"

"Hyunjin! Can we change papers, I want to sit next to Eunbi." Hyunjin agreed because he didn't care.

Mitzy was blushing but she treasures her friendship with Eunbi. "Thank you" she slightly looked at him.

Everyone went to their seats. The paper Eunbi has reads 5F. She goes to the last row and sees a guy with folded arms.

She looked at him in his face and a freckle can be seen. His face is cold as night, but his eyes were soft. And so were his skin.

She broke eye-contact.

"Can I sit at the window side please?" She pleaded.

"No." Hyunjin avoided eye contact.

"Please, I don't like it here." She said with respect.

"I don't care, nerd." Hyunjin rolled his eyes.

"Yah! I asked you nicely!" Everyone looked at them and Mitzy quickly went to her. Good thing the teacher stepped out for a bit.

"Please excuse her, she's not use to these...things..." Mitzy pulled Eunbi's arm. Hyunjin glared at her but he didn't flinch.

"Eunbi, you're supposed to be sitting over there, 4B. Can I see your paper?" Eunbi handed her the paper and it says, "5F", Mitzy mentally face palmed her self.

Mitzy went to her seat only to find out that, she was sitting with Aera.

"Great!"

Ms. Jeon came back and told everyone to quiet down.

Eunbi and Hyunjin glared at each other from time to time.

"For the last announcement, you'll be getting to work on a group project. All of you will be partnered up and you will make a story, showcasing all the subjects in this school. This will serve as 50% of your grade this semester."

"For the partners, your seatmate will be your partners."

Eunbi and Hyunjin died on the inside.
