It's Axl not Axel

November 1st 1993

Axl was driving his five month pregnant wife to her vogue magazine interview in his brand new red Camaro . She had rolled the passenger's seat window , she was looking outside the window enjoying the beautiful scenery , while the cold breeze brushed against her soft tanned skin and silky brown hair . A faint smile was painted on her face when Axl's fingers intertwined with hers .

A : "Are you excited for your interview sunshine ?" He gave her a sweet smile before looking back on the road

M : "I am excited and scared and I feel butterflies in my stomach , is this normal ?" The speed of her words was fastening every time she'd say a new sentence , something she would often do when she would get anxious .

A : " Baby it's completely normal" he kissed her hand "you're gonna do amazing don't get stressed out over it . They'll just ask questions and you'll answer"

She took a deep breath and then spoke again .

M : "I can do this" she sighed

A : "Plus I'll be by your side the whole time babe don't worry it'll be okay"

She nodded her head and they drove to the studio where the interview was going to be taking place . They got seated on a nice black leather couch and the interviewer sat on a chair right across them . Axl had an arm around her and he would every so often kiss her cheek or rub her stomach to keep her calm .

The interviewer started off with simple yes or no questions . Mikayla was answering them best way she could without wanting to sound mean or that she said too much and she had done a pretty good job so far .

I : "How would you describe your relationship with your husband Axl in one word ?"

She took a moment to think and remember all of their adventures before responding .

August 19th 1978

It was a hot summer day in Lafayette Indiana ; Mikayla and her friend Jasmine were hanging out at their local skate park watching the other kids skate , and they would laugh every time one of them fell . Their skate park was just an empty dried out pool filled with graffitis of all sorts . Nothing seemed out of the ordinary until they saw a group of kids who seemed normal but one skinny , and short redhead boy stood out . She could make out his facial characteristics since she was very close from where they were . His strawberry blonde hair was long reaching down to his shoulders , he had small freckles on his nose and cheeks , small green eyes and nicely shaped lips .

One of the boys who looked slightly taller than the redhead approached Jasmine and gave her a small hug .

Je : "Hi Jas" he smiled

J : "Hi Jeff , how are ya ?" Oh so his name was Jeff , interesting she thought to her self .

Je : "I've been good , I came here with my friends to hang out and skate a bit . How are you holding ?"

J : "I'm holding just fine" while Jasmine was drooling over Jeff Mikayla was staring at Axl . The moment he realised she was staring she quickly looked away and pretended to be tying her shoes . The big shock came when he tapped her shoulder .

A : "Do I have a zit or some shit ?"

She looked up at him M : "N-no of course not" she let out a nervous chuckle

A : "I'm only asking 'cause you're staring at me" he smiled "I'm Axl by the way"

M : "Axel ?"

A : "No honey it's Axl not Axel"

M : "Oh that's a cool name" she felt her cheeks flush a bright red colour

A : "Thanks doll" he checked his time on his watch "Ey yo I gotta go now , see ya around" he winked at her and grabbed his skateboard.

M : "See ya" she whispered and watched him get on his skateboard and skate away .

This Axl guy was something else . He could get into a room and have all eyes on him , but not just because of his looks but also because of his aura that made people want to become his friend or partner .
