Rayla was on the castle balcony, she was over looking the forest. How she missed the forest is something that she couldn't even tell how much. Callum became king because Ez didn't want the crown, then married Rayla. So by law she was the new queen, yes she was happy the war was over and that she married Callum, but, ever sense she became queen she had less and less time to go into the forest and just, be herself.
Callum came out to see Rayla on the edge of the balcony. "Whats wrong?" He asked her, leaning on the edge, facing Rayla.
"Nothing, everything is....fine" She answered back, giving off her best 'I'm totally not depressed and wanting to go outside and hang out' smile.
Callum didn't buy it.
"Whats wrong?" This time it was more of a demand then a question, Callum put a comforting hand on Raylas shoulder.
"I just miss the forest" She breathed, she faced Callum, Callum looked at her with a loving glance.
"I promise, tomorrow we will go, or you can go, which ever you like" He smiled.
"thanks" She smiled back.
