Meeting Hero Boy

1 hour later , the Mane 7 mind their own business as Twilight overheard the Conductor announcing a stop.

Sunset- We're stopping.

Eddie- It's another pickup .

The Mane 7 and Eddie look through their windows to see the conductor talking to a boy in yellow pajamas and a cerulean blue robe.

Conductor- Well ? You comin' ?

Rainbow- Man , look how mature that little boy is. Wearing no theme pajamas and a robe ! He looks like a type of kid to not believe in anything.

Applejack- I'm agreeing with Rainbow Dash in this one.

They look and see Conductor holding a clipboard.

Conductor- Is this you ?

The boy looks at the clipboard and then at the grown man in front of him.

Hero Boy- Yeah

Conductor- Well , it says here " No photo with department store Santa this year " , "No LETTER to Santa". And you made your sister put out the milk and cookies.

Rainbow- ( Scoffs and glare ) Boy , that kid sure is one piece of work , isn't he ?

Fluttershy- That doesn't sound very nice.

Twilight looks at the boy backing away from the conductor.

Conductor- Suit yourself.

Conductor takes the lantern and heads back inside.

Twilight faces the Conductor walking by.

Twilight- Um , sir , if you don't mind me asking , um... Is it necessary leaving a child ?

Conductor- Miss Sparkle , I've got my orders.

The girls continue to look at the boy standing there until he decides to run to the train , much to their surprise.

Rainbow- Hey ! That boy wants to get on !

Applejack- Come on , Slugger ! You can do it !

Pinkie- RUN LIKE THERE'S NO TOMORROW !!!

Rarity and Sunset flinch and cover their ears. They see the boy finally managed to climb onto the step and they sigh in relief. The look at the conductor waiting on top of the stairs for him and leads him to the cart they're in. The boy walks passed Twilight and sits in front of her and across from Holly. Twilight and Sunset notice how Holly took an immediate liking to the boy by the way she smiles at him and they see him looking away from her with his cheeks slightly blushing.

Pinkie- Aww ! He likes her !

Pinkie's comment made him blush furiously and look away as Holly giggles softly. But then , he is greeted by Eddie in front of him.

Eddie- Hey , you ! Yeah , you ! Do you know what kind oof train this is ?

Hero looks at him as if he's talking to a crazy person.

Hero- Huh ?

Eddie- Train ! Do you know what kind of train this is ! Well , do ya ?!

Hero- Umm...

Holly- Of course ! It's a magic train ! ( Smiles at Hero ) We're going to the North Pole.

Eddie- Aw , I know it's a magic train. Actually , it's a Baldwin 2-8-4 S3 class steam locomotive built in 1931 at Baldwin Locomotive Works. It weighs 436,100 pounds and....

Hero looks at Holly who gave him a bored expression with a head shake. He looks at the Mane 7 who simply roll their eyes or facepalm.

Twilight- Don't mind him. I'm Twilight Sparkle. This is my dog Spike.

Spike barks as his tail wags.

Twilight- These are my friends : Sunset Shimmer , Pinkie Pie , Rarity , Applejack , Rainbow Dash , and Fluttershy.

The girls said hi and hello to him and he hesitantly waves to them in reply before he faces Holly.

Hero- Are we really going to the North Pole ?

Twilight- Well , that answer should be completely obvious when the title said Polar on it.

Applejack- And it sure doesn't say South Pole either !

Holly- Mm-hmm. Isn't that wonderful ?

Pinkie- ( Smiles ) Sounds wonderful to me !

Rainbow- Uh , Pinkie ? She's actually talking to Hero Boy over there .

Pinkie- Ohh. ( Smiles sheepishly ) My bad !

Eddie- Hey , look everybody ! Herpolsheimer's ! Herpolsheimer's !

The kids cheered and zoomed to the right said to take a look.

Rainbow- Herpol--Who now ?

Twilight- Herpolsheimer's.

Rarity- By the behaviour the kids had when they raced to the right , it must be a toy store.

Sunset- Well , let's go see.

They went to the right and see the store with a mechanical Santa as display.

Eddie- Man , look at all those presents ! I want all of them !

Holly- It's so Christmassy and cozy and beautiful !

Rarity- Two words cozy and beautiful suits it perfectly. Bit it doesn't look to christmassy. It could use some gold , red , and green lights and streamers to it.

Hero boy looks to see gears sticking out of it's back , apparent he remains uncertain of Santa's existence.
