The drive back was awkward. Cas sat in the back seat, Sam in the passenger and Dean driving.

'So g-' Sam started to say before he was so rudely interrupted by the fact that a large truck smashed into the side of Baby. Dean slammed into the stearing wheel and jerked sideways. Castiel hit the top of the car as it rolled and Sam smashed through the glass of the passenger window.

The truck continued to push the impala, making it roll more and more.

"Sammy! Cas!" Dean screamed.

He swam out of consciousness and back into the bright brilliant light.

Dean looked down on himself again. Castiel was sitting next to his dream self (Was this a dream?)

Dream!Dean was shirtless and scars littered his back. Cas was in all white, hair ruffled and swept like he just stepped out of a furious wind. His hands were pressed against Dream!Dean's back and a soft glow illuminated from them. Dream!Dean was relaxed and his eyes were closed, a small smile etched into his face.

'So what's your favorite color?' Cas asked.

'Blue. Like the sky after a hurricane. When everything bad is finished and there's the possibility of hope again.'

Dean gasped. He never told anyone that. And he never would. But this had to be him. How could anyone else know?

'That's nice. Mine is green.' Cas said.

'Why?' Dream!Dean asked.

'It's the color of your eyes.' Cas replied. Both Deans blushed furiously.

Cad smiled and Dream!Dean turned, causing Cas's hands to break contact. Dream!Dean smiled and placed a single hand on Castiels face.

Dean was sucked away from the scene, and had just enough time to feel confusion and a strange tingle over his skin just before he was sucked into the Black void.

Dean Winchester opened his eyes. He was in a white room and the only color was the dark of Castiels hair.

'What the hell happened?' Dean said. He felt an itch on his face and reached to feel an oxygen tube taped to him. He ripped it away and started to get up.

'A driver fell asleep at the wheel and hit us.' Cas said.

'Is Sammy okay?'

'He is fine. I was able to heal him but I had to rest a while before I could heal you.' Castiel said.

'As long as Sam is okay.' Dean said.

'I think now that you are awake, I can do this.' But he hesitated.

'What?' Dean asked.

'This may be- awkward...' Cas placed his hand on Deans head. Dean gasped. Imagines flooded in behind his eyes. The story of Castiel telling the story of the witch, cas healing him in the white room, Cas laughing and butterflies filling every part of Dean, how they shared the darkest secrets and brightest dreams.

And Dean saw the last part of his last dream (memory?).

Dean touched Castiels face, that smile still in place, and leaned in. Their lips touched each other softly.

Dean closed his eyes.
