(Dipper's POV)
I woke up the next morning with a start. I was feeling a lot better today. I had noticed that Mable wasn't in her bed so I headed downstairs to the kitchen.
I see that Mable has already made her unique Mable juice for breakfast. Sometimes I wonder how she is still living after she drinks that thing. I made my way to the counter and sat down to eat some cereal.
I had finished my cereal fairly quickly. "So.. I don't want to be stuck here all day. Anyone want to go to town with me?" He asked. He wasn't expecting much of an answer from anyone.
Mabel's excuse was that she was having friends over and my Grunkles were going to be doing things around the shack and couldn't go into town. "Ok, I'll be back around 4 in the afternoon" I say and headed out of the shack. I still had my arm in the cast so it was a bit akward at first but then I got used to it.
I made it into town and headed towards the library. I hadn't planned much for today so I just chose to do the generic thing. Read.
I wandered into the mystery section and picked a book up. It was called "Eyes in the Dark". It seemed pretty interesting. It was about a traveler who had to face dark beasts in this new magical land. There were adventures and fights in it.
I was halfway through the book when I noticed the time. It was 3:25. I checked out the book and made my way home.
(Bill's POV)
I was watching the people of Gravity Falls when I seen the all to familiar chocolate brown haired boy. I smirked as I planned to toy with the boy.
"Pine Tree~" My voice echoed out. Pine Tree looked around anxiously and held a book close to him.
I popped up right behind him and scared him. He had this face that had the look of fear and annoyance. He took a few moments but then recovered and looked at me with a stern look. I could see a hint of something else in his eyes but I couldn't place it.
Sorry that this chapter is short but I needed to get something out quick since I've been procrastinating a lot this week.
