Different Worlds? / Batman x Reader (Under Editing)

First Day

It's officially my first day as acting President of all of Musk Enterprises, and it's the first-day Musk Enterprises is officially opening their Gotham branch to the world. This is truly such an important day for me but one I have been postponing for so long.

6 am and it was time to wake up, get ready, have some breakfast and watch some Netflix before heading down to my office. I usually take more than an hour to get ready and to get myself to actually wake up, but today I was excited to start my day. It was weird to live just an elevator ride away from the office since wearing heels and fancy business suits seemed totally unnecessary because I could just go in my pajamas.

As the elevator opened I immediately got handed papers and a fresh cup of coffee.

"Miss.Musk, such a pleasure to meet you. My name is Caroline, your assistant."

"Hey, Caroline, a pleasure to meet you. So what do we have today."

"Well, you have a meeting with the new employees at 9 and then a video call meeting with the other Musk Enterprise branch heads to discuss any new changes you want to implement and such."

"What? Changes? Fuck Im not ready. I didn't know that was today. Oh sorry Caroline, excuse me. I mean okay, just reschedule it for 12, I'll come up with something."

"Perfect, Im sending an email right now. There's some coffee and tea waiting for you in your office, didn't know which one you liked. There's also a package someone sent, not sure who's it from."

"Okay, okay. I'll be in my office working on the new changes, please don't disturb me unless it's something urgent."

I went into my office and saw the biggest flower arrangement I had ever received in my entire life.  Honestly, I was so moved by it I think I ran towards it to see who it was from. Probably some company that wants to be on good terms.

Wow, this guy is really persistent huh? I guess he is just really interested in Musk Enterprises, I don't think it's more than that.  I should probably give him a call later today to set up a meeting.

The day was going by pretty quick, I had my 9 am meeting and introduced myself to all employees and got to know all of them individually. Which was a goal of mine because I believe I should be really friendly and relatable to them. Afterward, I worked on what changes I was going to bring to the company. I couldn't think of much but I had a few things in mind which the other managers really liked and approved.

I was really starting to become bored, being all by myself in a huge ass office with no one or nothing to entertain me beside the view of Gotham City.

I decided to ring Bruce and see what he was up to. He probably wasn't even awake yet.

" Morning" Bruce said sounding half awake

"Hey hon, morning? It's 1 pm what have you been up to?"

"Sleeping had a rough night. Couldn't sleep. How's work going?"

" Well, I came up with the future of the company by noon and I have been staring at my email waiting for something to come up. So far, so boring."

" Want me to come by? Boss gave me the day off."

" You gave yourself the day off huh. Ugh I wished but what would Bruce Wayne be doing in my office?"

"Well, business? I can come up with a few excuses."
