I woke up on a nice sunny Friday morning and immediately got dressed and headed to my car. I had work today at Nando's Restaurant where I was a waitress. I had just finished cleaning up a table from a nice family when my boss told me I had to work overtime. When I asked her why she told me a famous Australian-bound band was coming to eat here. Great, they're probably stuck up like most bands are. Except for Sleeping With Sirens, they're amazing! Anyway 4 lads, who I assumed was the band my boss was talking about, walked into the restaurant and sat a booth. I'm not gonna lie they were pretty good looking. One of them was tall and a lip piercing, one of them had his hair died red, one lad had dark hair and a dark skin tone and the final lad to walk in had a bandana and lots of bracelets on his arms. I grabbed four menus and walked over to their table. As I handed them their menus I recited my usual speech, "Hello my name is Danielle and I'll be your server today, can I start you guys off with some drinks?" They all looked up at me in shock. Most likely because of my American accent because that's how most people I know were when Katlyn and I first moved here. "Yeah we'll just have four Cokes please," the lad with the lip ring spoke up. "Four cokes coming right up," I said. I went to turn around when I heard my name being called. The lad with the red hair spoke this time, "Allow us to introduce ourselves. I'm Michael, next to me is Calum, across from me is Luke and next to him is Ashton." They all said hello except for Ashton, the one with the bandana on his head. He just kind of stared at me in awe. He was the one that first caught my eye when they walked in. Luke elbowed Ashton in his side and he mumbled a small hello. I waved hello and went to get their drinks. I went to the back and grabbed four glasses and poured Coke into each of them. Just as I was grabbing the straws I heard my name again but in a whisper. "She's gorgeous," one voice said. "Ashton calm down you're freaking out over a girl," another voice said. Ashton thinks I'm gorgeous. I started blushing at the thought of that. "She's more than just a girl to me." "But you don't even know her dude." "I don't care. I will get to know her," Ashton said. "How," a third voice asked. "Just wait until we're done eating," Ashton told them. I smiled and grabbed the straws, put the drinks on the tray and walked back out to them. Afterwards I served them their food and my boss said I was free to go and that the evening staff would handle clean up. As I was about to walk out Ashton asked if I wanted to hang out with them and since I was off of work I agreed. "So what's your band's name," I asked them. "5 Seconds Of Summer," Calum answered. "Nice name." "Thanks," they all said. "So where do you wanna go," Ashton asked. I was honestly surprised because that was the most he's said all night. "I know a great place," I said. I text Katlyn telling her I would be out late and took them to the one place where I was happiest.
