William laid his head in Henry's lap, watching Hallmark movies with him.
"I really don't get how fake these movies are." William grumbled. "It's stupid."
Henry laughed, running his fingers through his hair.
"You know these are supposed to be fake and cringe-worthy, right?" He asked with a smirk.
"Yeah, yeah," William replied. "I know."
The two continued to mock the movies, until they heard a voice from behind.
"Dad..?" Charlie asked sleepily. Henry turned to look at her.
"Oh!" He exclaimed. "What's up, sweetie?"
William sat up, wrapping himself in the blanket more. Henry gave him an awkward look, then turned his attention back to Charlie.
"It's a little late, isn't it?" Henry asked. "Did you have a nightmare?"
She nodded. He and william shared a look.
"Alright, you can watch some television with us." Henry confirmed. She smiled and sat between them, looking up at William and Henry for a bit.
"What's Mr. William doing here so late?" She asked.
"He decided to spend the night this year. Is that okay?" He asked, running his fingers through her soft hair. Charlie nodded.
"But what about mommy? When will she be back?" She asked. Henry froze and looked away for a second, a look of sadness washing over his face.
"She won't be back for a while. Look, Santa will be here soon. You need to get to bed." He picked her up and carried her back to the bedroom.
"Santa? Oh my god." William got up and made sure the house looked extra neat. Henry entered their living room again.
"Hey, willl." He purred. William didn't look up.
"Yo?"
"How about we get a little dirty tonight, eh?" He suggested. William rolled his eyes.
"No, Henry." He replied.
"What? Why not?" His face fell.
"Santa Claus is coming tonight! He won't come if we're- we're having sex!" He argued.
"Santa?" He was confused.
"Santa is real, Henry! That's why we're going to bed now." He ordered. Henry shook his head in disbelief.
"Uh- okay." He trudged upstairs. William sighed.
"This man, I swear." He shook his head. He finished setting up and followed Henry into the bedroom.A/N: a little short, I know
