A/N: This one I think will be the longest yet and it will also tell Cricket's, Blue's, and Luna's back story. This song relates to Cricket's life sorta and mine.

{Crickets POV}

Right after school, I went to the bookstore to see my mom and wait for Blue and Luna. The thing about this bookstore is that it also had a few conference rooms like libraries do and it even has a library part so after we moved last summer I immediately fell in love with the place and spent most of my free time here.

" Hey, mom" I called when I walked in

"Hi, how was your day," She said as she walked toward me.

"It was ok, we went over more rules and I got some homework from Spanish, art, a history packet from history. So I will be in the 3rd study room if you need me." I said walking toward the back to the study

"Well make sure you don't spend all your time in there reading," she said holding in her laughter

"Fine, how did you know I was going to do that?" I asked amazed

"Mothers always do," she replied

When I got to the study I put on my playlist that is a mix from country to pop. As I did my homework I thought about what questions to ask. I really have no idea what to ask, do I? I thought. When I was at the end of my work someone came in.

{3rd person}

"Hey," Blue called witch made cricket jump"Is this a good time?" He asked

"Yeah we could always go look at the books if you are busy," Luna said

"No, Come and sit, down," Cricket said"You guys have excellent timing I just finished up"

"Cool," Blue said as he and Luna sat down 

"Can you do me first please I need to get some new reading material," Luna said 

"Sure, first do you read"

"Yes"

"I think she meant if you like to read, Luna" Blue said sarcastically

"Oh, well I mean it's ok I would rather be texting Swordtail though," Luna said slightly embarrassed

"Who is Swordtail" Cricket said 

"My friend," Luna said barely over a whisper

"Yeah, boyfriend " Blue muttered chuckling

"You have a boyfriend? What grade is he? Does he have a car? What does he look like? Does he go to our school?" Cricket said throwing away her restraint

"Wow Blue, I can tell what you mean about curios," Luna acknowledged

"Oh, Sorry" Cricket cried" You don't have to answer any of these If you don't want to"

"No it's fine, Yes Swordtail is my boyfriend, he is in 10th grade, he has orange hair and a suntan, he goes to our school, and he has a motorcycle that is blue with orange suns and stripes on it"

"Wow, thank you"

"Is that all because I need to get a book"

"last one, Do you have any questions for me?"

"Not that I can think of right now"

"ok" she shrugged

"What about you" she pointed at Blue as luna walked away"Do you have any questions for me?"

"Actually I do"

"Well then shoot"

"What is your favorite color"

"Yellow"

"Favorite genera "

"fantasy"

"Favorite series"

"Harry Potter or Percy Jackson. You know some people say Percy Jackson is another want-to-be Harry Potter when really they couldn't be more different"

"Cool, Favioeret book in harry potter series"

"I like the Order of the but Prisoner of Azkaban is a good one too."

"Who are your friends?"

"Only books really no one really likes me that much to even try and I move around a lot "

"That must be...." He struggled for words"sad"

"Not really. I mean if books don't judge when you ask too many questions, books don't give you weird looks, books don't whisper about you behind your back, books don't call you names,  and most of all, books are nice that's more than I can say for most people" She explained. Why am I even doing this he will just do the same thing others do, try to get to know me but see that I am weird and run off making faces. 

"Well now you can consider yourself with 3 new friends, me, Luna, and Swordtail"

"Thank you, but you really don't have to do that. I have dealt with this before people think I am some charity case they try and help but then they see I am curios and quirky so they think I a lost cause and run away and start being mean to me too." She said her face down.

"This is not like that," He said being sympathetic and grabbing her hand"I want to be your friend because of  your quirkiness and curiosity"

"Thanks " She blushed

"So, are you and Luna twins you look like it"

"Technically no but we do say we are because our birthdays are a week apart and our moms don't want to be reminded of our father. 

"Why"You could hear the curiosity in Cricket's voice as she questioned him

"Well our dad was with my mom but he was cheating on her with Luna's mom, of course, neither of them had any idea the other one existed and they both got pregnant around the same time and he made the mistake of having both of there numbers on his phone babe he had a babe1 and babe2. One day he forgot what one was burnet and what one was silverspot. He tried to text Silverspot to come to the cafe but it was burnet instead then before Burnett showed up Silverspot did by chance then while they were catching up Burnett showed up and saw them and she confronted them, of course, Silverspot knew nothing so she got mad too then Silverspot and Burnett went to dinner to talk it out and then they fell for each other so yeah" 

"Wow, that is something"

"Yeah, anyway what is the deal with your parents?"

"So mine is simple...ish. My mom fell for a guy her mom did not approve of because he was a servant to a high-class lady, when her mom found out my mom was pregnant she all but killed her. You see my mom was only 17 so reluctantly my grandma said I was hers and she was really mean to me and called me stuff but I had no idea why until I was 13 when Grandma moved out after my grandfather died. She left me with my mom or what I thought sister my mom had to tell me the story then so she did and here we are moving every year but I think this year will be different since we got the book store"

"What about your dad?"

"Never knew him. He didn't even know my mom was pregnant and she hasn't seen him in 16 years he could be anywhere on earth."

"Hey Blue our rides here." Luna walked in and said. They didn't even remember they were holding hands until she walked in and they both immediately pulled their hands back. 

"Well, nice talking to you Guys thanks for answering my questions," Cricket said blushing

"Yeah same," Blue said blushing too 

When they walked out she realized her phone was still on playing mucic and the one playing was "Demons" by Imagine Dragons so she stopped it.

"So, What happened" My mom questioned. I told her happened and, of course, she asked what questions did we ask so I told her everything but in a simplified version.

"Umm... About your dad, there is someone I would like you to meet." She whimpered
