Part 4

Time skip 4 weeks later

We were about to set out with all the rookies. Eren was obviously in the Levi squad.

"I have a weird feeling about this." I said softly.

"Yeah well...nothing to do about it."

I nodded and looked at the gate that was slowly opening.

"Advance!!" Erwin yelled.

We went into a full gallop.

"Why are we in the safest position though...two of the strongest are in this squad. It'd make sense to put us somewhere else." I heard Gunther whisper to himself.

Soon enough we saw black smoke. We were nearing a forest.

"Go through the forest!" Levi yelled.

Petra send the message further while we drove towards a path between the trees. After a little while a titan was on our tails. A female one at that, though it seemed weird.

She just killed the people that attacked her in cold blood, she didn't eat them.

"What kind of abnormal is that?!" Eren asked.

"A weird one. Just keep going!" I replied.

I sped up a little and rode next to Levi.

"That's not an abnormal now, is it. That's a titan shifter." I said.

"Seems like it."

"I knew this mission was off."

"Y/n..."

"I know 'trust Erwin' am I right?"

Levi nodded. I let out a tired sigh and looked onward. The titan was almost atop of us. Eren began pleading to us.

"She's almost atop of us! If I just transform!"

"No! Trust in us! Trust in the captain!" Petra said.

A lot of dialogue went by which I didn't catch. In the end Eren trusted us. Seconds later the female titan was under fire. She got harpoons pierced throughout her whole body to keep her from moving.

"Tend to mine and Y/n's horses. Come on Y/n." Levi said.

He used his 4DM gear and started to go back to the titan. I followed suit.

We stopped on a branch next to Erwin.

"Wonder who it is." I said aloud.

"We'll find it out soon enough."

Just as he said that the bitch started screaming really loudly. It wouldn't surprise me if they could hear it inside the walls.

"10 titans coming from all sides. No, 20. More!" Mike yelled.

Instead of attacking us, they began ripping up the female titan.

"They're eating her! Just like Eren!" Hanji said.

"We can see that." I sighed.

We tried to stop the titans, but it was useless. Though, the host was already gone.

"I'm going to look for the others."

"Wait a second, I'm coming with you." Levi quickly said.

After talking to Erwin about it for a bit we left to look for the team.

"Levi...tell me that isn't..." I said, looking at blood on a tree.

I reluctantly looked down and saw Petra's dead body. I had the urge to vomit and to kill that bitch titan.
