Marked (Jimin FF)

Meeting the family pt. 2

We were in the limo driving to the 'small' orchestra performance. At least I can rely on the fact that it's still an orchestra performance; apparently they're the most famous orchestra in the marked community. I am quite excited to see them as classical is one of my favorite types of music.

When we reached the venue I was shocked by how big it was. There were even paparazzi waiting for us. I turn to look at Jimin eyes wide and he laughed sheepishly.

"Suprise," He said and I glared at him for a second. I inhale and exhale. I feel the eyes of all the other men in the car as I pull myself together.

"Why are there so many people here?" I ask

"Well, you see it's similar to an award show for our people. Marked's have our own newspapers and tv channels, a couple actually. Also, a lot of famous people are Marked's so the regular public eat up this moment."

"Let me guess King and Queen have to go out first," I state as they nod their heads. I turn my head to Jimin and he takes the hint and gets out first. Screams are heard and the cameras go off but you could feel the confusion. He reaches his hand inside and I grab it and step out.

Gasps are heard and reporters are going crazy asking questions as flashes go off around us. I hold Jimin's hand tightly and smile. Jimin leans down towards me

"Are you okay if we answer a few reporters?" He asks still smiling for the cameras

"Yeah, that's fine," I respond. We start walking towards the crowd and Jimin approaches one of the reporters. She bows deeply towards us and we greet her as we are supposed too.

"You may rise," He tells her and she does so.

"It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance my king. May I ask who this is" She says pointing the microphone to Jimin.

"This is Kyo Y/N, she is the future queen and my girlfriend." He responds and she gasps.

"Do you mean the two of you aren't even married? I understand you both appear very young but how is it possible that she is here?" She asks and I try to hold in my choke.

"Ah- no we are not even engaged. The only reason she is here today is because she figured our society out." He responded and there were gasps all around us.

"May I ask how that is possible my queen?" She says now pointing the microphone to me.

"Well it wasn't too difficult, it just took a gut feeling and a little bit of eavesdropping" I chuckle sheepishly as she and 20 other people stare at me with wide eyes.

"That is amazing! are you aware no one has ever figured our society out in our whole history without being directly told!" She asked

"Yes, so I've been told," I respond

"You must be very smart." She said and this time Jimin responds to it

"You are correct, she is actually gonna graduate Bighit high this year at just 18." He says and she gasps.

"Beautiful and intelligent. May I ask where you got that beautiful gown from?" She asks

"My late grandmother made it for me actually. She told me to wear this dress when I meet the family of the man or woman I would spend the rest of my life with." I told her and I could see Jimin's surprised expression before he smiles again.

"What a beautiful symbol. From your expression, I believe you had no idea of the meaning, my king." She says pointing the microphone to Jimin.

"No, I had no idea. It makes me immensely happy the woman I love so much is secretly saying she is willing to spend the rest of her life with me." He says smiling at me. "Now if you'll forgive me we must start heading inside." He says as he gives her a slight nod and I give her a slight curtsy and she deeply curtsies back. We start heading inside when all of a sudden in my peripheral vision I see a girl in a wheelchair with a sign.
