'Beautiful' Birthday Pt. 2

Author's POV

To say the two couples were shocked at their best friends behavior would be an understatement. Y/N was giggling like a school girl having a crush, she kept using skinship to teach Jimin how to make the dish, and every once in a while he would say something and she would blush. FREAKING BLUSH!!!

"Ah, shit!" Jiwoo say

"What's wrong?" Y/N asked

"We forgot the candles." She says

"You don't happen to have candles do you Y/N," Somin asked

"As prepared as I am, No I don't." She says

"How about you girls go to the store and we'll stay here," BM suggest

"But the Lazania..." Y/N says

"I've got it, go," Jimin says. Y/N sighs

"Alright. If the timer goes off before I come back, make sure you take it out of the oven."

"Got it"

"There's a fire extinguisher under the sink if needed"

"Noted"

"Make sure you use gloves or you'll burn yourself"

"I'll keep it in mind"

"If someone calls tell them to leave their number and reason"

"Okay"

"If someone knocks, make sure you ask who it is and their rea-"

"Y/N?"

"Yes?"

"Everything will be fine. I've got it covered okay. Go and get the candles." Jimin says

"Alright," Y/N says reluctantly and walks out the door with her two best friends. After the door closes both BM and J-seph turned to Jimin with an evil look in their eyes. Jimin gulps, a little intimidated.

"So Jimin, What is Y/N to you?" BM starts.

"What do you mean?" Jimin asks trying to sound nonchalant about the situation at hand.

"I mean are you going to toy with her heart just like you toy with every other girls heart in our school." J-seph asks harshly

"Just so we're clear I have never made a move on any girl in our school to 'toy with their heart' as you say. You and I also know Y/N hates me to the core and on top of that doesn't believe in love. Tomorrow our dancing project is due and she will have no use for me any more." He sighs and continues.

"So to answer your question, no I do not plan to toy with her heart. I don't know if you noticed or not but I do like Y/N in a romantic sort of way. I have no ill intentions towards her."

There is silence for a few seconds.

"If you mean what you said... We'll help." BM said

"What!? Really?" Jimin says shocked

"We want to prove to Y/N love is real and if you like her as much as you say you do then your the perfect candidate." J-seph says.

"Thank you." Jimin says smiling at the two over protective boys.

"Yeah doesn't sweat it. But if you break her heart we'll come after you" BM says seriously

"Yeah I know. I will do my best I promise!"

Silence.

"Wait does Y/N even have matches?" J-seph asked

"Shit, she did but she used the last one yesterday." Jimin said.
